I just called Delta to confirm my seats from BOS to MCO and back-end of August. What a shock! I was told my flight coming home no longer exists. Anyone flying from Boston better check your status ASAP. They said they notified us but they did not. I am glad I checked and was able to rebook on another flight, not what I wanted, but there aren't many choices. Good luck everyone!

WHAT THE SMURF?!?!

I was about to book my BOS to MCO flights last night for my crew, but decided to wait one more day. Holy Guacamole Batman, no Delta returns to be had today.........what gives? I can do a roundtrip on Travelocity Delta out, and AA back for $100 more per seat, but is this my only option? Have you Northeasterners who go in late August, or frequently fly Delta, seen this nonsense before!?! :confused3

WTH............??????????? :scared1:

That is so crazy  news!!!!!! GOOD GOOD thing you called!!!! ::yes::

Sorry-I need to make myself more clear. I was able to rebook a Delta flight home same day-just different times. The flight we orginally had was terminated-nice they tell us, so I got seats on a different flight from Delta home, so if you were on flight 1896-it no longer exists for the end of Aug/beginning of Sept anyway!

Our flights for the middle of August from Boston to MCO on Delta, originally booked on Song, have changed no fewer than 5 times. We are 4 adults and 3 children traveling and DH has learned to check a few time a week to try to insure that we're sitting together.

So, do check those flights often.

We fly bos-mco ... We prefer JetBlue.. Jetblue will not come up on travelocity, etc... go directly to their site.. you can get one way fares.

We prefer JetBlue because they do offer alot of non stop flights, great times, leather seats, newer planes, and most importantly tv's at every seat. Going in Sept. and got non stop for $89 each way :teeth:

If you can get to Greene, we got SWA last week of August for $135.00 RT.

I don't know what is still available, but I do know SWA rarely cancels flights.

On Tuesday I got an E-mail from Delta telling me my flights going and coming have changed. I called and got and earlier flight to MCO and the flight home is just a 1/2 hour later so we will keep it. I think everyone should check their flights just in case you don't get an E-mail. Our flights that were cx in Aug are flt 1897 out of Logan and Flt 1894 from MCO.

I had never considered Jet Blue. Indeed, their prices are much better right now, I'm going to book on JetBlue tonight. Thanks for your help Goofy! :thumbsup2

crap! Late aug bos-mco, I looked Thur and found my return changed by 5 mins and my DD's seat wasnt re-assigned! Going to look again!

Yep flight home changed 2 times, from 705 to 710 to 719 LOL They dont reassign seats either! She told me it was due to "operational schedule" and then promptly asked if I need a rental or american express card! I am not sure I will continue to be loyal to them :guilty:

Currently Delta is changing flights on a month-by-month basis. Pre-bankruptcy, Delta changed flights every few months. So even what you get TODAY, may be different one month from now.

I have never had a problem with Delta notifying me of any changes. In fact, DH and I recently traveled on Delta. Two of our flight times changed by a minute (flight wasn't terminated, just a time change) and we were notifed over the phone and by email.
