I saw this over on io9.com and felt I had to re-post it over here.

Someone has modded an incredibly detailed version of the Indiana Jones ride at DL using Left 4 Dead (or Left 4 Dead 2, I'm not sure) and no, there are not zombies or zombie shooting in the clip, it's all safe.

I thought this was pretty neat (hey, it doesn't hurt that I like Left 4 Dead too), so I took a look at some of the guys other mods. Here is the zombified version of the Pirates of the Caribbean, by the same guy.

That was amazing! I have been on Indy a zillion times and that is absolutely the queue and the ride. I could almost feel the heat from the fire and the bumpiness of the bridge-crossing!

I am not a video gamer, but it's outstanding what they've done. I'm impressed.

In the comments, he said it took him 2-1/2 months to create...sounds a whole lot faster than if I'd tried something like that...and it looks amazing.

He mentioned in one of the comments something about stringing a few game mods together to create a Disneyland level. That would be just about the coolest thing!
