The Saturday travel section in the Baltimore Sun has the same "Family of four from $1500" that AAA has been running for two or three weeks.

Karla, I along with quite a few others used a code that was posted briefly here on the boards. The thread was pulled rather quickly because apparently it couldn't be determined if a pin# was necessary or not. I called CRO and was told I didn't have to have a pin# so I booked it. I got my confirmation in the mail a few days later and it mentions nothing about a code or pin#. It just says "10 NIGHT Room Only" and the price. I have since called CRO several times for different things and asked each time if I will need a pin# at check-in and have been told no each time. That said, it was "researched" here on the boards and determined that if you were able to book using the code the offer was probably in your profile which allowed the CM to book the rate for you. After that several people called CRO and asked them to check their profiles for discounts. They then posted here on the boards whether they were successful or not. I think several people did have the offer in their profile. I hope this helps!

I called just 2 days ago to inquire about codes and a male CM told me the exact same thing. He said to make sure and check the Sunday paper. I am really hoping for codes because we already booked and if none come out...we will probably have to cancel.

I am REALLY new at the booking game, so I have no idea when to expect anything!

I suppose we could go ahead and book something now and just watch carefully. We would have until 45 days before to cancel a package, or a week before to cancel room-only, so we might do that. I guess I just don't feel that urgency yet! We still have nine months to watch for codes or package discounts, and depending on the school calendar we may have to change our dates entirely.

We will get the paper tomorrow and look in the Travel section, but it doesn't sound like there will be much to see!

Maybe the CMs were just told that an ad would be running & that it would be extra busy? Could be that no one told them what the ad would say!

The CMs on the phone last winter made the same hints right before April-June codes came out so maybe we are getting closer.

Hey all of us that don't have local Sunday papers, why can't we look up the travel sections on the bigger papers on-line? Most papers also have their ads & classfied atleast listed... just a thought.

We live in a small SC town. I remember those GA codes last year. Maybe Madey/Sophiesmom a OH code is coming out?? I guess we'll find out soon enough. Yeah for codes!!

I saw a Southwest Airline Ad in the chicago Tribune for $319 for 2 nights at Pop C. which included one MYW ticket! (is that a deal? I couldnt find the fine print, because I'm sure there had to be something about double occupancy, and black out dates!

I don't know about other papers but for the Chicago Tribune, the Travel section that is in the early editions is the same as the one that will be delivered to our home tomorrow.

Good for you that the storm just skimmed you. I think we had about 10 inches but it is hard to tell with all the blown snow. We are West of Chicago so we didn't get hit as hard as some areas this time. Where is Castleton?
