US Air - some flight prices dropped today. Just booked out of philadelphia for Sept for 166.50 pp.

Do you have a link? Was just surfin today and couldn't find anything under $200 r/t from NY to FLA. Thanks.

I just went to the US airways website. The same flight was about $40 more this morning.

Yep...the airfare dropped today. I booked my air out of Philly two days ago and paid $40 more pp. Oh well...that's how it goes :)
We'll have to drink $40 worth of soda on board per person to make up for it :)

US Air will issue flight credits for price decreases good for one year. I've done that and we received vouchers for over $225.00.

I was checking their website every 2 hours at work. Noticed the price drop for our dates in July around 2 pm. For our desired times (early am, late pm return) price was 215.15 per person with the 5% for booking on the website. This is the lowest price I have seen for our times. Called my fiance and he said go for it. I went back to book 5 minutes later and price had jumped to $250. I went to Orbitz and found the flights for $225 (the first price I had plus the 5% discount). I called USAir to see if they could match it. I was on hold about 10 minutes. She said no, in this instance they couldn't match. I went back to Orbitz and tried to book it. It was GONE! So I tried the next latest return time, which I then booked. I was mad though, even though the times are pretty much what I wanted, I really wanted the 9:20 flight. Plus, I ended up losing the 5% discount and having to pay orbitz's service fee.

I have been stressing about airfare for over a month though, so it is somewhat of a relief that I finally have tickets that I know I can afford for the times that are pretty close to what I want. I was hoping to get them cheaper, but I didn't want to risk the prices skyrocketing again (which they ended up doing today). So, my advice is, if you see a rate grab it. Even 5 minutes to call your significant other may be too long!

Fares from Rochester, NY to Orlando dropped to $165 today. They were $203. Atleast that's what my Travelocity farewatcher told me. :D

Ive been watching ROC for about a week now...Travelocity has had flights for about $150 :) SYR on the other hand has been over $200 :(

I got airfare from Binghamton, NY to MCO in October for $184.18 (plus all the taxes and fees  for a grand total of $233.50 ) The base price has been at $218 for months now.
