I'm in the 50s already!
Do you have room only or package? On the back of your reservation confirmation there is a cancellation policy. With my room only reservation it says: "in order to receive a refund of your deposit, including credit card deposit transactions, notification of cancellation must be received 5 days prior to your arrival date. .." Then it has who to call and reminder that other reservations won't be cancelled (i.e. dining I guess and policy is subject to change verbaige.

we also were able to apply EWK to our reservation. Saved $10/night off GF.

I have not seen a rate listed for the GF. You saved $10/night awesome. What was your final rate with discounts? Would love to stay at GF.

Taking a break from my smilie posts to share what I've found.

I have looked over the discounts for various deluxe resorts. They are giving $90 per night off. That's it. In my opinion, that sucks.

I haven't looked at the moderates or values, just the deluxe. Also I had them price Old Key West and the discount for it was also $90.

I'm very disappointed. We need an Oct. discount, which didn't happen and to see that the discount for Sept. is another flat rate doesn't help.

:(

Mom of Five-

I think you have until five days out to cancel and receive a full refund of your deposit. I may also cancel if I can't get a better rate.

morning all disney freaks...........Myself included!!!

I spoke with a cm this morning at CRO about the ap rates past Sept....he said they don't tell them much, but look out for them within the next week, possibly this weekend. I also asked if he though they would be cheaper then the email/postcard rate, he said, stick with that rate and be happy, they'll probably be the same. We are going in Dec, I changed ressie and got the 151 night AKL sav view, so I am happy...but hey a few dollars a night is a few dollars a night, if you know what I mean. It'll get spent in Disney World anyways :)

Greats News for all of you who got discounts in Sept!!!
For those of you waiting..Oct and on.........just hang on some more;)

I've never been interested in AP rates before now.....are the current discounts any better/worse for this time period than in previous years? I seem to recall reading about AP discounts as deep as 45% for the deluxes....the current rates don't seem to be that good (or at least, no better than email/postcard/AZZ/etc. rates.

I just changed my AZZ code to the EWK and saved an additional $10.00 per night for our stay at YC water concierge. It's better than nothing I guess.

Thanks for the 411 about cancelling.

I made my ressies over the phone only about a week ago, and the lovely CM (Michealena) was so nice about trying to find a discount for our party of 7 and then we got visiting...anyway, she never gave me a confirmation number! And I haven't gotten anything in the mail. So, I didn't know the policy on cancelling. I'll have to call today to get my confirmation number!

Wow, I waited on hold for a while! I just modified my reservation. Now I didn't figure this out...but here is the rate. My rate is now 361.28 for the GF.....1 room, garden view, and that is with 5 adults plus tax....So I did get a pretty good deal! ::yes::

The total for 3 nights is 1084.00 :teeth:

Gotta love those discounts!

Thanks for posting they were out!

Travis

I just spoke to a CM who said that the EWK rate for my stay (9/27-10/2) could only be applied to the first 2 nights of the stay, since the code is only good through 9/29.

What kind of garbage is that! The AZZ code applied to my entire ressie, even though it is only good through 9/29.

I'm calling back!

DEFINITELY wrong information!! I just applied the discount to my sisters stay................from 9/27 to 10/6!!:bounce: The discount is applied to her whole stay! :hyper:

Got WL Concierge for $260.00 per night plus tax for 9/24 to 10/2. Was debating on downgrading to woodsview but my husband said go for it - taking MIL and she has never stayed on site, and in fact only went to DW for 1 day over 10 years ago; she is very excited (only worry - keeping her from buying too many souvenirs for our DS3) .

So if I wanted a res for 9-30 and 10-1, I still have to wait???? This is just too much for me.
Guess I'll just drive up and have my brother look in on my dog, until I get home after MNSHP.
I've been able to get in the passholder site at Disneyworld.com and still no dates for stitch. It says check back end of August.
Also,
CM's do read the boards, when I've been at Disney with my Green Mickey, CM's notice. I've been told that Disney looks at the boards out there. One actually recognized my screen name.

Should a new thread be started for October AP rates? This one is getting a bit hard to follow.

It looks like EWK is a straight $90 discount on the deluxes, so the more expensive the room, the less the percentage off. At the low end, $90 off of a $199 WL or AKL room is a 45% discount. The same discount at a $299 room at the Poly is only 30%.

I know in the past they have given percentage discounts rather than flat discounts (2 years ago I got a standard room at the Poly for $169 in early December). But the value ($49), moderate ($79) and WL/AKL ($109) rates are about as low as they go.

I just checked into this thread what's going on, it's going to fast for me, what rates is everybody getting?

The rates are basically the same as the email rates, but they are for Sept only. Check out mousesavers she has some sample rates listed.

The CM I spoke with gave me the "Why do you want to check, you already have a discount with AZZ ..." line when I first called. She made me feel dumb for asking about EWK ... I figure if I'm up this early, there's no harm in checking  :p

Don't feel bad about it. AZZ is actually not as good of a discount as the AP codes. Don't even think twice about it. Let us know if you were able to save anything over AZZ. :)

Couldn't sleep last night, and slept through the alarm (missed taking DD11 to her last day of summer violin :( ). Then I realized it was 8:08 and I had to call WDW! CM was a bit slow in finding my ressie, and then remarked that I already had a discount with code AZZ, so why did I want to check for AP rates  When the dust settled, I got my AS Mo standard room ressie modified to 49/night, which saved me about 68. total over what I had with AZZ for 10 nights. Not too shabby! I probably wouldn't have switched if they only had AS Mu or Sp, because I have 2 DDs who love Disney Movies. The extra savings would almost pay for another character dinner for us..... She quoted me rates on a few other resorts (bigger, better), but in the end, I figure I was better off using the savings towards my bills, LOL. CM redeemed herself by getting me the Movies, but when I asked if it would be busier than usual in Sept, she said, "If you are asking whether we are booking a lot, yes, we are". Guess that means my uncrowded trip is no more....::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo princess: ::yes::
Sending great discount pixie dust to all you Oct-Dec DIS'ers!
