check on AP rates

I just wanted to say that AP rates in May were also $80 for the Deluxe resorts. Maybe that is going to be the norm for a while.

Given that that codeis only good for stays until the end of September, I'm hoping that all other fall codes, room only or otherwise, don't come out as late as Sept.29 ! That would just be too much

From these boards I knew last night about the Sept. room only code.I called last night to check on AP rates or any available room only codes for Oct. She said I was getting ahead of myself, Sept wasn't even released yet. Okay fine, the code wasn't out until today. Well I get up this morning, call at 6:58, ask for any AP rates or available room codes for Oct. and she says they only have discounts until Aug.28. Now, of course, maybe she misunderstood me and thought I was only asking for AP rates, but still-never offerred up room only code. Now I'm afraid to call only once in the a.m.-for fear that I'm getting one of the CM's on the phone that's not giving or checking for the most updated info. What is it with these CM's lately? How many times in the a.m. does everyone call. I'm just feeling a little down today-sorry for the rant-I was sooooo hoping for those AP rates this a.m. for October. . I just want these CM's all to be on the same page!

I called this am at 7.:45 to ask about Sept AP rates. The CM checked and said that they were only through 8/28, and can she check anything else for me. I said no thanks, and got off the phone. About 9:15, I get downstairs to my computer (if only to see what you guys are thinking) and I see the news about the Sept general public code! I quickly went to Mousesavers and called Mickey back. I originally thought I wasn't going to get it because the CM was having trouble finding it, and then applying it (at times, she was very Disney-ish, but then, she seemed a little villain-ish). Another CM helped her, and I was able to apply the code AZZ (general public room only code) to my exising AS Movies ressies, making it 55 + tax/night! I am thrilled to get this discount, but am disappointed that they didn't offer it to AP holders first. Wonder if they did this to aggressively increase Sept bookings? Or if this will make Sept much more crowded than usual? Regardless, sending pixie dust to all you guys visiting through the end of the year

I got the WL Woodsview for $132 per night with the AZZ code. Will an AP rate, if one comes out for September, be better than that?

I'm gonna take a WILD guess here and say *if* discounts for October are released they'll come out August 16 (or August 28 like last year).

Released June ??
Good for August 1-28
Book by July 31

September Discounts
Released July 19 (12 days before August discounts expire)
Good for August 29-September 29
Book by August 28

October Discounts
GUESS: To be released August 16 (12 days before September discounts expire)

Figured better get something while the getting is good, AKL for 119+tax per night, sounds like what the AP rates usually are, booked for sept. 26-Oct 5th at least there is deals out there wether its for AP Passholders or everyone, if an AP rate comes out thats better we will jump on it then, but for now 119 is pretty good. Glad we bridged the month so we were able to book it now. good luck to all in Oct.
