Check-in, DME and groceries

We will be arriving at MCO around 10:40am on a Saturday. We are using DME for our transportation to POR. I want to use WEGOSHOP for groceries. I guess I'm confused with the process. We will get off the plane, get to the hotel where we will check in then (hopefully around noon), right? But official check in time isn't until 4. Do they have rooms available for some/all/ none of the guests when they arrive? I suppose I should have a delivery time of after 4 to be sure??? Some one help me! I'm so confused about this.

Although the normal check in time is either 3pm or 4pm you can arrive as early as you like and check in. They will give you all your paperwork, etc. You may get lucky and get a room right away. If not, Disney will store your luggage for you until later. We have been fortunate enough to arrive early during numerous trips and our room has always been ready. Many factors involved as to whether you will get a room right away or not. I would definitely have the groceries scheduled for delivery later in the afternoon. There is no way of knowing ahead of time if you will be given a room immediately.

We used Wegoshop in June. We knew we wouldn't get our villa before 4, so made our drop off time for groceries at 5ish. Well, as luck would have it,we were able to get into our room at 2:30!!! We got our bags from DME at about 3:00 and called wegoshop to let them know we were in our room and what the room number was. They were able to deliver a bit earlier...around 4:15 or so.
I would ask for a delivery time of about 1/2 hr after the 'official' check-in time. You should be fine then.
