Do any of you think that the day/time you check in would determine if you would get your room request or not? I know your chances are slimmer if you are a very late check in at night, but what about a friday evening as opposed to a sat. afternoon? Think it makes a difference or am I just finding something extra to worry about? LOL

I think that it does make a difference. For our most recent stay, i had picked out the room myself with the front desk a couple days before but then when i went to check in and it was 10:30 am, they had a room redy for me (not the one i picked out), but i didn't mind simply because i needed one because i had no where else to go and didn't want to wait for 5 hours.

I think if you check-in in the evening, you'll be lucky to get the room you want. We always check-in by noon and get our room preference. Once in 15 trips we didn't get the room we wanted, we checked-in at 6:00PM.
