Check-in at Wilderness Lodge Villas

I just rented points for a one bedroom villa at WL for May 8-13. My question for those of you who have done this sort of thing (first time for me) is: Since there is no maid service, do we need to bring toiletries and paper towels with us? and do we need to wash our towels or does housekeeping bring them if requested? As I said, I'm new to this and would appreciate any comments based on your experience to help out as to what I can expect.

Just stayed there (1 BDR) in Sept. You do not need to bring any of that; they have PLENTY and I mean PLENTY of towels and soap/shampoo, etc. kItchen is fully stocked with paper towels, dishswasher detergent, dish soap, etc.

It was very nice, we enjoyed it.

Mark the thing you may want to bring is detergent for the washer, and a decent sponge. They will provide everything else that you need. They will leave one laundri-mat sized box of Tide and the sink sponge is really tiny. I also bring my travel kitchen knives but I'm picky in the kitchen. The only thing you need to do for yourself between mousekeeping calls is take your trash and recycling to the trash room on your floor, make your bed and wash some towels & dishes in the dishwasher.
