Does anyone have this book? (the latest edition?)
I used to have this book, and towards the back (I think) it had a list of reputable 'room brokers' (or they may have been called ticket brokers)
basically, they would rent out rooms which hadn't been filled, rent rental cars that were just sitting around, and sell tickets to venues which weren't filled.
Many of them bought large blocks of rooms from (sometimes very nice) Orlando area hotels.
I stayed in a very nice business class hotel last time I used them. I had a suite for $35. per night.
Anyone know what I'm talking about?
Thanks!

Thanks for your quick answer!
I'd still like to find those brokers though.
btw...doesn't skyauction charge a pretty hefty bidding fee? (around $200.?) Or was I misinformed?

Thank you!!

the fee is for the exchanging it from RCI - $195 + $20 (fee from SA)

but if you can get one for under $50 it is still a great deal

$265 for a week in a condo - works out to $37.87.

but read the ads CAREFULLY - lately there have been a lot of EXTRA charges.

found this
http://www.shop.com/op/aprod-p26233233-k24-g1-~cheapskate+guide+to+disney-nover

looks like it has not been published since 2005.

Disney is finally being to recover from 2001 and before. but the rest of the area still has some great bargins.

Hi, I read that guide! I found it at the local library. Being a Cheapskate I would look there first!!

Lol!
I bought it every year for a few years. It always saved me lots!
I bought some other books yesterday...
Unofficial Guide to WDW 2007 (I recommend it)
Passporter WDW Resort 2007 (jury's still out)
Disney on a Dime (ehhh...so far, not so much)
But, I did just buy them yesterday!

been thinking about it

the website might have been

www.priceline.com

for more information on how and when to bid

www.betterbidding.com

or 'www.biddingfortravel.com' - this webmaster can be a little bunk. if you go to priceline except thru her site - she gets mad. So don't post here - just read them.

That's funny! That's exactly what slick dealers say (www.slickdeals.net)
I had to go there after reading what the sd people said, and....well....she does come across a bit....well...testy(?)

lolol
