Hi all!

I'm just wondering if I'm missing something with regards to the DLH?? It always seems SO expensive - is there a trick to get it cheaper?? Or do I just need to save more?! lol I know the further in advance you book is often cheaper, and out of season is cheaper too. Not to mention the 1 adult booking and adding another on check in...

I'm just asking - but I'm guessing I know the answer! But you know what they say - you don't ask, you don't get......

I booked a trip to DLP Sequoia Lodge and yesterday I noticed a %30 off sale.. I am seeing if I can re-book and get that deal.. just keep checking.

the cheapest way is when a flash sale comes up = 50% off!

We do it on the 2 nights free, which works out at 50% off as we book for 4 nights 5 days. X

although the 2 nights free is a great discount, it doesn't work out at 50% off, it actually works out usually at just under 40% off (because on a 2 night stay you get 3 days park entry included, but on a 4 night stay you only get 5 days park entry, not 6). I've compared the 2 nights free compared to full price before over the years, and usually the price reflects around 39% off the full price.

Some dates in January are quite cheap C but book as soon as they are released because I've found that's when you get the very best rates. Good luck and if you discover any secrets keep us in the loop.x

f.y.i. I tried the 30% off deal and found out it's only for UK residents... I need to find something for US residents. :(

Each countries deals are good for anyone - just leave the country as the UK if it's on the UK site (France on the French site etc etc )and put in the rest of your adress - everything is sent by email nothing ever goes by post.

Unfortunately, my TA said we couldn't have it. I was booking through a TA and they call it in... I think the only thing I could do would be to cancel my TA's order and put in my own?

that would be correct, if you've booked through a TA they can't switch offers for you, if you book direct with DLP you can (as long as any subsequent offer you want to upgrade to is with the same country's site that you originally book with).

I'll take a hit for the deposit, around $225, but I'll be saving money on the hotel room and getting a half board meal plan.. so it would be worth it to drop the TA reservation and reserve online.
