If you don't use Mears...what is the cheapest way to get from MCO to WL? This is for a single passenger.

Thanks!:D

Check the transportation section of the site. You can compare rates of Mears vs cabs. Tiffany towncar is about $85 round trip. I don't think cabs are much different. You might consider a compact car. Hope you find a good price!

Cheapest way would be to use Lynx (Orlando's public transport).

The fare will be about $1 plus $0.15 for a transfer ticket as you have to change routes somewhere near SeaWorld.

Lynx will set you down at TTC where you can pick up a Disney Bus to Wilderness Lodge.

From memory, the Lynx website with routes & timetables is at http://www.golynx.com

Mears is about the best bet price wise for a single person. You might be able to get two one-way car rentals on either end of your trip for somewhere in between the cost of Mears and a towncar.

One trip we took, we only needed transportation for getting to WDW, I found a National mid-size for $32.50 (fees included) for 24 hour. I picked it up at the airport and dropped it off at the Dolphin. You just need to check out the National/Alamo website to see what they have. There also is an Avis or Hertz office at one of the Downtown Disney hotels on Hotel Plaza Boulevard.
