Cheapest one way from DTD Marriott to MCO?

My sister is driving my neice down to WDW for the WDWCP next week. She will be staying at the DTD Marriott while my neice gets checked in. She'll be flying home on Fri, 8/29. What is the easiest, cheapest way to get a one-way trip from DTD Marriott to MCO for her flight home? Her flight is about 2:00pm.

If Mears, does anyone has the phone #?

said bus #50 (i think) from the transportation center costs $1.50 one way. Its about 1 1/2 hr trip however. check the link below. If it doesn' work check the post above.

Mears Transportation is very inexpensive to and from the airport, but not $1.50...lol.

I'm not sure its the right choice for a trip to the airport. You'd have to get to the T&T center, wait for the bus, take it to the downtown bus station, switch to a bus to MCO. Could take a while. And Tyler (Chip n Dale Express) who mostly can be found on the Transportation board (works for Disney in -guess what - Transportation) said you can only bring one carryon size piece of luggage on the Lynx.

It may not be the cheapest way if there is just one person, but you can probably save quite a bit of time by renting a car. A previous post estimates 1-1/2 hours for Lynx and apparently Mears times vary depending on how many hotel stops they make. Check for the cheapest rental car at Dollar Rent a Car (try all the different codes and look for specials on Dollar's website...also, be aware that a compact may actually be cheaper than a subcompact (or does Dollar call it an economy?)). Dollar has a counter at the DTD Courtyard by Marriott, and you don't have to pay a drop off fee for a one way rental to MCO, in early August, I think our rental cost 24.99, and after taxes and fees, I think it totaled $31 .....if you take the toll road to MCO, it will cost you another two bucks.
