Hi folks.
I get the weekly newsletter from SWA about specials and discounts. Otherwise, I'm clueless about how to get the best airfare for 2 adults and 1 DD (2) from BHM to MCO.
We need to book the Swan to take advantage of a sale ASAP. Our best choices in Sept. are Tues-Sun or Wed-Mon (**the Mon prior to checkin is Labor Day**). What days are our best bet for getting a low airfare if it is offered? Other tips?
Thank you!!

I don't know about SWA but Delta is the same on a three day window that we are looking for our trip at the end of Sept. Plus they are aDME airline so you can do express checkin and luggage transfer for the return trip. We used Delta for our DEc trip out of BHM and was very pleased. Plus they were much cheaper than the rest. I am holding out hoping to get the $175 round trip again.

Both Monday and Sunday can be an issue. Dl often limits sales to midweek which excludes Sunday and Monday.

SW is not quite so "consistent" . Either way the SW internet fares aren't bad from BHM.

Well, I guess since most people include a weekend in their trip, Sun and Mon. make sense.

Thanks for the notes on Delta. We can't use ME at the Swan, so that isn't an issue, but it's good to have a fare for comparison.

Advice on where to watch Delta fares?

We went to DW last year end of September through first few days of October, flying out of BHM. I checked fares on an almost daily basis, and was able to catch one week where they dropped the fare to $98 RT per person. I believe that was either in late July or early August.
