Cheapest but clean/safe hotel by disneyland?

I was wondering about the Best Westerns with the free breakfast, has anyone stayed at these, how are they?

We always stay at the BW Park Place Inn and love it for is location and free breakfast. It gets great reviews. Nothing fancy, but it is clean and so close to the entrance!

Weve always enjoyed best western as well. The bwppi would have been a top choice but we had so little notice most places were booked! ive had several friends stay there and enjoy it quite a bit.. Plus cant beat the location!

I'm another vote for Super 8 on West Katella, have stayed there 3 times and it's always clean and cheap with friendly staff, i've always felt safe too and that's as a solo traveler! Also within walking distance (longish walk, but very do-able)

My least expensive hotels in the past have been booked through Hotwire or Priceline's "name your own price" web sites. Check out www.biddingfortravel.com or www.betterbidding.com for hints on using those sites.

Just back from a three night stay at the Motel 6 Maingate and it was great! Room was large and clean, staff was great, ART shuttle service was great. We had a great stay and will not hesitate to stay there again!
