Since our first trip in 2005, thanks to the tips on the DIS Boards, we have bought body glide for our feet for WDW. However; this year we are staying for 10 days and with 4 people that would be over 50, for the big ones ! Does anybody have place cheaper or proven alternatives? I am not really a fan of moleskin.

it sounds weird but i have used non scented antiperspirant deodorant (sp.?)

I've used just plain ol' clear deodorant, worked like a charm!

I use whatever stick (no-white reside type) deodorant I have on hand for my underarms. I rub it on those places where certain shoes cause hot spots or otherwise rub me and may cause blisters.

Band-Aid makes a little stick of stuff that is for your feet. It looks like a tiny thing of deodorant. It is called Blister Block. It is with the band-aids at Wal-mart. It is only a couple of bucks for the tube, but it lasts quite a while. And worked well for us.
This is how the Band-Aid website described it:
ACTIV-FLEX™ BLISTER BLOCK® Stick
Its natural based lubricating formula reduces rubbing on skin to prevent blisters. It’s invisible so it’s ideal for open shoes and it’s easy, non-messy to apply.

Any product with dimethicone will work. If you look at the Breck baby products at Dollar Tree, the powder lotion has dimethicone.

The anti-chafing creams and gels are loaded with dimethicone. They are a little cheaper than Body Glide and often have coupons (made by Monistat). CVS makes their own generic and it's $2-3 cheaper than the Monistat Soothing Care line.

:cool1: Thanks to everyone ; you have saved me $$! Happy 4th!

I was at WalMart this morning and they did not have the Band Aid Blister Block........not even a spot for it on their shelf. I did however find it at Frys grocery store (Part of Kroger)....on the shelf label it was listed as Closeout-so I don't know if it is being discontinued or if certain places are just not selling it.
