Cheap park hoppers for kids

DH and I have APs so we don't need park hoppers. We just need one for my DS who will be turning 3. I looked at lastminutetravel.com and they have some pretty cheap tickets, but we need to get at least 1 adult ticket in order to get a kid's one. Is there a place where I can get cheap park hoppers for kids without having to purchase an adult ticket first?

The (online) prices at the Disneyland website are pretty good...only about $5 more than you would pay at LMT (I think), and you can buy just a kid's hopper by itself (as far as I know, anyway).

Good luck!

Somebody posted this exact same question last week. I looked for them and found that getawaytoday.com sells discounted tickets and will let you purchase just kids tickets. Just put in one adult and the number of child tickets you need in your cart, then edit your cart and remove the adult ticket. We used getawaytoday for our tickets last May and were very happy with them.

I am sure you probly already know this but if he turns 3 during your visit he is still free.
When we went in May a CM told me that about one of my foster kids that turned 3 our 2nd of 4 days there. Free the whole trip .....

My company has corporate perks, and one of the vendors is ticketsatwork.com; I was looking to get a 5 day hopper for my DS, and they had the lowest prices I've seen- $172; I didn't look at the shorter days, but if you can check out the website, you might see what you're looking for.

Mugglemama: The Disneyland price for a 5-day is $211 and I saw that it's about $180 on LMT.

starshine514: Getawaytoday.com doesn't have Disneyland tickets.

alyssa810: I don't have a company number code for ticketsatwork.com so I was unable to look at their prices. :confused3

snikelfrizt: That's awesome! But my DS is already gonna be 3 & 2 months when we get to Disneyland. =\

Thanks for the response everyone!

They had them last week when I checked, so it is very odd that they aren't carrying them now. They have really good customer service though, so don't hesitate to give them a call. When I checked last week, they still had the pre-price increase prices. So, maybe they sold out of those and are updating their database or something. :confused3 Be sure to choose your travel dates on the calendar, as that may affect availability as well.

@UneekStyle - Thanks for the clarification...when I bought our last set of tickets last Summer, we only saved a small amount on each ticket (buying them on ARES as opposed to the Disneyland website). I guess prices fluctuate throughout the year at different places, which in turn might mean that the amount of savings between places fluctuates, too. I will keep this in mind from now on, thanks!! :)

They sure do ~ http://www.getawaytoday.com/ However it looks as though you can't not buy an adult ticket.... try calling them - they're a US company - 15 minutes from my house. 1-800-523-6116

I just checked, and all I see are tickets for Universal, Legoland, Sea World & Knott's Berry. I'll try to call them tomorrow and see if I can get it.

Yeah. Maybe it's because It's for September. But I tried for July and it still doesn't show any Disneyland tickets. :confused3

Yeah. The price is really good but it just sucks that I have to get an adult ticket before I can get a kid's one.

Anyone have any more info on getawaytoday no longer selling park hopper tickets?

I have used them before and was planning to use them again in Sep. I checked online today and they were NOT available for purchase. However, I saved an online quote from them last month and with that link to my online qoute it seems I can proceed with checkout.

Any ideas what is happening?

Call them - the only thing I can think of is perhaps they're updating the prices....

As a FWIW here.... The disneyland.com tickets are really really easy, and might be worth paying a few bucks more for. You print out the ticket, and take it right to the turnstyle. They scan it and give you a proper ticket.

With the other places, from what I knew and remember, involve a stop at a ticket booth or guest relations/services. Not quite as convenient.

I don't always pay for convenience, but with disneyland tickets I'm cool with doing just that.

ticketsatwork did have cheaper 4 day but they add taxes so it ended up being more

I just talked to getawaytoday yesterday over the phone and they told me that they do sell park hopper tickets.

Here's what getawaytoday's website says right now:

DISNEYLAND® Resort PARK HOPPER® Bonus Ticket
These tickets may be purchased online as part of a package. Please call 1-800-523-6116 to place ticket only orders. We apologize for this temporary inconvenience.
