Cheap Christmas Airline Tickets!!!!

Where can I get cheap airline tickets for the dates of Dec. 21-29 or are there any suggestions for changing my dates to get cheaper tickets? Tickets are REALLY expensive during the holidays.(From Detroit to Orlando)

I'm assuming that you have tried Expedia/Orbitz/Travelocity to see what the average flight is going for? Jet Blue and Southwest have not released their fares for those dates so you could wait for those. However, you fare is going to be pricey...your trip is during one of the most expensive travel weeks of the year.

Basic supply and demand I would be very suprised if you could find cheap tickets for those dates.

We flew UK to New Zealand at Christmas time and the price was over double it normally is and we were away for over a month so we thought we would miss the worst of the rates but NOPE.
