wohoo an Alison self interview!
Cool on the new trailer. My parents still have their 1975 camper, the type that sits on the bed of a truck. It's been in storage for many years now, they put a lot of work into it over the years to seal all the edges, replacing parts and making new cushions. It's tiny, I recall feeling very squished in my growing up years and now.. I can't imagine being in something that small! I like camping (tent), but Eloy doesn't as much. So we get one or two trips a year at most.
We hope to go stay in a camper cabin in a state park next year. Go be a tourist n the area and have a cheap place to stay.. minus the discomfort of tent sleeping.
The fair was fun! Tiring, walked too much in the heat fun.
The band looked great, kinda peeved at the lack of crowd control. People walking across right out in front of the performers or edging too far from the curb. I think the state fair staff did a horrible job of pacing. There were looooooooooong gaps between floats and the bands. People thought the parade was over and started milling around.

The band director looked PISSED and got in some lady's face, not sure what is was about..I think he was upset that her family was in the way?
We watched a lot of cooking demos this time, always something new for us to discover at the fair.

Justin stayed after the parade and hung out with a friend.. of the female variety.

He was so cute when he came home later and told us ..giddy, excited, blushing.
I was like, honey go smell his breath and check his eyes, he must be on something!
Today is a much needed sit back and relax day.
