Pix!

How ya feeling this evening?

I'm okay. The rash is still there but it's almost gone. I got kabob for dinner and the employees are the not the usual ones who know me. The kabob was really really dry and tasted horrible.

High strung lil dudes.. yip yip yip yip yip yip yip

We are back among the land of people who own BIG dogs-- hooray! It was odd to see people out walking (or at the mall carrying) these tiny things going yip yip yip yip in California. Rare to see large breeds.

I know.. I hate those little things. Honestly, you all know that I am NOT an animal person... But I much prefer a big dog, if I have to be around any animal. My sis has 2 big dogs.. and they are SO good with my kids. Even mikalah!:lmao:

Bummer, dude.

We had cereal for dinner. Nothing sounded good to make. :rotfl:

Scary, isn't it??? Like when DH had an MRI scheduled. He told the person doing the scheduling 3 separate times that he has metal in his heart. So he gets there, tells the person as they're taking him into the room about his stent, and they FLIP OUT!!! "You're supposed to tell us this beforehand! We can't put you in this machine! It would kill you! We have to send you across town, and I don't even know if they could fit you in!!!"

Hellooooo! Told the scheduler that on three separate phone calls!

NICE!!!

Nice! Dontcha just love it when they dont bother to listen to you??

how exciting that you are going to get to do this all yourselves! That is SOOO going to free up a bunch of time for you!

umm yes and no for free time.. it's OUR choice of what time to dialyze, but he will actually be getting MORE dialysis than center based.

5-6 times a week for about 2 1/2 hrs

vs

3 times a week for 3 1/2 hrs

My mom didn't understand when I first told her-- she was preplexed why it is daily.

Because it's better! :goodvibes

E had test as part of a research sudy, they will do a follow up in 6 months. The researcher shared that she has 5 people in the study who had previous transplants that failed and now do short daily home hemo.. all of them said they would choose NOT to get transplanted again. They feel much better on short daily then they ever did with transplant.

I can understand that.. E was sick sick sick the first year after the transplant. Those first year of meds are very high dose and makes you feel awful with the side effects.

You are the only family I know who eats cereal for dinner! :) I wouldn't mind eating peanut butter captain crunch for dinner

:lmao: I know! The kids have done it once or twice, but then always ask me what is for dinner after they eat the cereal. :rotfl2:

What's up Staley? :woohoo:
Nothing special... Just another busy day at the Staley house.

Interesting... Can you vacation with it?

Holy cow!! it should be flagged on his chart too :confused3 Bunch of dorks!

And yes, MRI is not good if you have metal on you :scared:

:rotfl: Are you secretly running an IHOP? ;)
Ohhhh, I wish we had an IHOP nearby! :lovestruc

Nope, we make our own low-fat Winnie the Pooh/Tigger waffles. I can't remember if my mom got me or DS4 the waffle maker (we already had a plain one), and both boys love it! They sometimes fight over the waffles: "I want Tigger!" "No, I want Tigger!" (Flip it over, honey...)
