Thanks!
Hubby is like "c'mon let me do it!" anxious to get started.
We hope to do our own set up in the morning-- getting supplies, his weigh in, scrub up, cut his pieces of tape for him .. etc.. We kinda like being in charge of things, hate waiting around and having distractions.
Last time, E set his needles, the nurse guy said "I have to draw labs" and then walked away to do something else.

Meanwhile hubby is sitting and waiting around.. he starts clotting, which would make it impossible to draw lab (can't draw after giving heparin).
E waves the nurse down "I'm clotting already"
Nurse is like "oh?!" -- very surprised..
Had to pump a syringe on the line to get the blood flowing and finally draws the labs.
At the end of the run.. nurse guy is all surprised..
"wow, never had anyone clot that fast!"
umm yeah, we told you that
And then he looks at the tubing and realizes.. "you need a higher heparin dose"
umm yeah.. we told you that??
Hubby is NOT the typical dialysis patient.
