I've got to get ready for work here soon. This weekend should be a busy one, so I doubt I will make it back here before Monday. Tomorrow morning I think I am going to take the kiddos to the 4th of July Parade (it is actually being set up in our work parking lot ) so I feel pretty comfortable going. Then sometime tomorrow our niece (sis to nephew staying with us), her husband, and another nephew (10yo of DH's other sis) are coming up for the weekend. Tomorrow night we are going to see the local fireworks. Then the weekend we will probably walk to the lake, do some fishing (the 10yo loves to fish, and we have never taken the kiddos). DH is going to buy some stuff to BBQ for them this weekend - so it should be a good time

I am off Friday (DH and DN open), then they are off Sat/Sun, and I open (at DH's store), so it should be a pretty good weekend

So tired... But... I am the coolest mom EVER. I let Alex get his mohawk he has been wanting for a while. The hairdresser looked at me like I was smoking crack.. But what the heck? Its just HAIR. It will grow back. Besides.. It is crazy cute! Everywhere we went people told him how cool he looked, and he just cheesed it up. He wants me to dye it red.. I think I will wait a while before I try that.

I am freaking wiped. We have been on the go since 8 this morning, and didnt get home til 8pm tonight.. Starting with grocery shopping, and remembering why we DONT shop at Albertsons.. Oh yeah. Every time we go there, I run into my MIL. Today was no different. Its like she waits for us or something. and ending with a trip to the Y... a workout and swimming with the kids.

Get him some of that temporary wash out color that all the boys put in their hair. Supercuts has it, little packets of red, blue, green, white! Haven't looked lately, but I bet Target or Walmart probably has it also. My DS wears it in his hair every once in a while. Bet he looks so cute, you'll have to post a picture for us.

Hey Megan! What's up Lady?? Doing anything fun for the 4th?? We are heading out tomorrow morning to DH's parent's on the coast. Going to spend the night and then head back Saturday afternoon. DS is going to stay there and visit the grandparents for a week.

Hey! How fun!! No, I honestly dont think we are doing anything.. I didnt plan anything, because the hubby was going to work, and suddenly his boss decided to shut the shop down.. So now I dont know what to do! No big. The Y is open tomorrow, so we might take the kids swimming in the morning, and just hang around watching movies in the afternoon.

So now I dont know what to do! No big. The Y is open tomorrow, so we might take the kids swimming in the morning, and just hang around watching movies in the afternoon.

Sounds like a nice relaxing weekend to me! I really would rather stay home and chill, but we haven't been up to visit them for a while. There is a small indian reservation nearby, so we'll grab a few fireworks and go down to the beach. Weather isn't looking to great for tomorrow, but hopefully it will clear up in the evening.

There is a small indian reservation nearby, so we'll grab a few fireworks and go down to the beach. Weather isn't looking to great for tomorrow, but hopefully it will clear up in the evening.

Guess my baby is growing up. He packed his own suitcase to take to Grandma & Grandpa's house. Guess they just don't need me anymore, well except when they want money!

I got woken up this morning around 3am by a huge thunderstorm, it was flashing and crashing like crazy, then it rained. Kind of weird weather for us.
