OMG, I'm SO HAPPY!!!!! :yay:

The package has been delivered! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

The grape flavoring in the horrid medication made all the difference in the world, DH couldn't even taste the bitterness. We had to wait to give it after he'd eaten, so right after dinner we gave him the Benadryl first, then the gigantic syringe (2 tsp) of grape-flavored steroid. DH told him to suck it right down, and just kept pushing the syringe. I told DS, "Swallow! Swallow fast!" and my baby did.

When he finished it all and took a swig of milk we all cheered! I was nearly in tears!!! I have been very stressed out about whatever the heck this is, and how we were going to get rid of it. I'm hoping we'll see big improvements tomorrow morning. Crossing my fingers...

The downside of giving it to DS at dinnertime is that it may cause nausea or hyperactivity. Good lord, I wonder how long that would last? Could be a long night. But DH wanted to wait until morning and I said no, I wanted to get it started, so it's my fault if I'm up all night with him.

not much, waiting on DH to finish eating so we can head to bed....he has just decided to talk to me...wow....lets say he has given me the silent treatment all day
WTH???

I think they changed some of their products recently, there were alot of things I like this time round.. we bought the cheap, of course  But somethings are very pretty and if I had the moola I would use all their product to desgin a very functional and classy kitchen.

Hubby looked at a designed living room and scoffed

"who lives this way?"

"not us??"

"you got that right!"

:rotfl: :rotfl:

Much too tidy and perfect :snooty:

There was another living room all in black and white-- obviously not meant to be used in a family home :rolleyes1

GEESH, that reminds me of a house we saw when we were househunting. It looked normal on the outside, but the entire interior was black and white. I mean EVERY ROOM, EVERYTHING IN EVERY ROOM. It was like somebody turned off color!

It actually made me feel a little sick and I had to leave. It was a really nice house otherwise, and the realtor said even if we liked the house, it would have to be such an extensive remodeling project that it would cost far too much money to be worth it. :sad2:

ewwwwww

I would go crazy in that enviornment. Were the previous occupants serial killers or what??

Dang it, G, I was waiting for you to hop on so I could ask you a (nurse-ish) question, now I can't think of it. :headache:

No idea. And the individual items weren't strange in and of themselves. Like the entryway had beautiful black marble flooring, the bedroom had white carpet, I think, the bathroom had a black fixtures (kinda cool.) But the B&W cowhide pattern carpet in the family room was a bit much. :lmao:

hmmm was it how to hang from your thumbs without it hurting??

because really, I have no clue how that would work...

cowhide?? OMG ewwww

I don't remember if it was about the drug, or ... OH! I wonder if it was about oatmeal baths.

A friend of mine said she gives her girls an oatmeal bath. She makes a little pouch of oatmeal out of old pantyhose material and lets it soak in the bath. She said it's the milky stuff from the oatmeal that is soothing to the skin. Her girls grab the pouch and just squeeze the water out of it onto their skin.

I doubt I even have a pair of pantyhose anymore, and couldn't think of what else to use for that purpose, or where even to BUY a pouch type thing. :confused3

Actually, I don't think that was exactly my question, because it's not really nurse-ish. :lmao:
