And yes, make the investment in a chlorine resistant suit.

I bought a speedo suit online (JcPenney's.. clearance of course), swimming everyday and rinsed/hang dry each time when we lived in St Cloud (building had indoor pool). It lasted about a year before it bit the dust.. unlike the cheapie suits that dissolved within 3 months.

It also had the bubbly rough surface around the pool edge-- snag city with cheapie suits.

Besides, the pricier suits are good at "sucking it all in" for you and holding the bosum UP where it belongs.

Look for the "Aquatic Xtra life" or "aquatic endurance" types, the "resort" styles are not chrlorine resistant.

All are in the $50-$70 range.

I always thought of Speedo being for the skinny young gals, but it's not

And the suits fit SNUG , no chance of slippage or nolgas coming out for a show

DS4 scratched like a demon last night. I called the doc's office to ask where we got from here. Felt like a total moron saying, "Gee, we didn't even give him the medication" but DH is right, there is no way he would have gotten the full dosage no matter what we put it in. And likely he would have spit out or puked up what little we did get in.

So I'm waiting for a call-back.

Good Morning Hyenas!

I showed up to work this morning and was surprised to see a bunch of birthday balloons on my desk. One of them is a Nemo balloon

My parents and some relatives are taking me out to dinner tonight. We plan to have dinner at the country club where my parents live. They have an Italian buffet tonight.

I just got Jamba Juice with my cousin and I got a pepperjack on a stick from Hot Dog on a Stick.

GOOD MORNING HYENA'S!!! I still have a bad headache (not nearly as bad as yesterday). The good news is I worked at the other store yesterday, and was able to have a chat with the lady running it. I was able to get out the "please know I don't want your store, and I am only here to help, here are my ideas" and she is totally excited. I was pretty scared. My last boss (DH excluded) was some middle aged freak obsessed with the fact that I wanted her job (AND I DIDN'T) That ended badly...

OMG, I'm such a dork! I saw the "my little guys" and "keep an eye out for abusers" and thought I'd missed something major, I was freaking out!!!

But thank goodness I read it again. I GET IT NOW!!!

My Fipple, it's shakin like crazy cuz I got the eye patch removed today!

Also got my exercise and other restrictions removed today! The only restriction I have for the next few weeks is no sweating. Apparently sweat contains bacteria and they don't want it getting near my fipple until it's healed. So I can exercise, but no sweat. Plus I can do other fun things with DH, but no sweating!

No sweating??? It is summer???

OK guys, I'm starting to get a little worried. I keep getting these "is your husband cheating" ads!

Alex, did you hear the bad news. Starbucks is closing down 600 of it's stores in the US.

The good news though is it should only cover about a 5 block radius!

The article I read said the stores opened most recently are in the most danger of closing.

Because they are too embarrased to let anyone on the other car forums know they drive a Kia Spectra. My apologies in advance to anyone here driving a Kia Specta.



We have 2 of them in our town. Our population is 3,700, with a draw area of about 10,000. Don't know why we need two of them located about 100 yards from each other, but apparently we do!

They have over 15,000 company operated stores, so doubt if 600 will make a dent. Said they were only closing under-performing stores.

What - what kind of foo foo town do you live in. We have a population of 11,400 and only one starbucks inside Safeway

Alex, I always add flavors at Walgreens too. I believe Target and CVS do it as well.

Now if you go in the back door you can add flavors to your "other" drugs. I prefer the Strawberry Kiwi Crack personally.

OMG!!!

I must look really mad. DH has apologized to me about 4 times so far about the medication. I've told him it's not HIS fault the medication tastes so crappy. And I'm sure he's right that DS would spit it out or throw it up. He has a very sensitive gag reflex. If I didn't believe him, I would have just given DS the medication myself.

I'm just so ticked at the situation, not at him. But he keeps apologizing.

Maybe the medicine is getting to his head???
