I must look really mad. DH has apologized to me about 4 times so far about the medication. I've told him it's not HIS fault the medication tastes so crappy. And I'm sure he's right that DS would spit it out or throw it up. He has a very sensitive gag reflex. If I didn't believe him, I would have just given DS the medication myself.

I'm just so ticked at the situation, not at him. But he keeps apologizing. :rotfl:

I need a chlorine resistant suit. My swim suit is falling APART.

Ok ladies I guess that took some effort because I'm exhausted so I think I'm heading to bed now.

Goodnight all!

Do you wash it out with Woolite after each swim? That's what I do (but I never go nearly as often as you are!) Also, I think the machine at the Y that wrings out the water helps also. Does your Y locker room have that?

Staley, did you see the news story about the bank robbery, car chase and then shoot-out in Seattle? The robbery occurred in West Seattle, the car chase went from there to North Seattle, then back downtown, and the shootout occurred RIGHT IN FRONT OF DH's OFFICE!!!

He said he was working away with headphones on, and looked around and everyone was lying on the floor! He thought "WTH?" and went bck to his work. DORK!!!

Yep... and yep. I just read that you are just supposed to hand wash your suit, and never put it in a dryer or washing machine... I guess that means the spinny thing at the Y to, huh? Bummer. I love that thing. :lmao: But I have a cheap suit I got at Target, and I think I have had it for a couple of years. The past few weeks of swimming almost every day has just destroyed it. The elastic is all broke, and it is saggy and just plain ole icky.

So now I am looking at chlorine resistant suits.. have found some nice ones..

I saw that!! I cant believe he just went back to work!! Frelan would have gone looking to see what was going on, then probably go himself shot!:lmao:

The spinny thing shouldn't matter. I'm assuming your Y has the same kind as mine, it basically spins the water out of the suit, no washing, chemicals, soap or heat involved. So I think using the spinny thing is fine, good even to get more water/chlorine out.

Heat ruins the elasticity.

Huh. Oh well.. I hope I can find something I like that doesnt cost a ton of money. Everything I am seeing is almost $100.

Yeah, my folks used to swim daily at their health club. She used to buy cheapie suits, but was running through them quickly, and finally was embarrassed once when the back of her suit basically dissolved in the pool. She didn't notice until she got out and felt a breeze. :rotfl:

So she started buy pricey but good quality suits. They last longer, and I think she said in the long run cost less because she had to replace them less frequently.

:lmao: :lmao: OMG!!! :rotfl2: Thats funny!

Thats what the hubby told me to do.. Just buy something good quality, since I will be there almost every day. I just never went swimming before.. Only when we went on a vacation and stayed in a hotel. So cheap and crappy worked. Not so much now..

I know! I said, "Did it occur to you to hit the floor??? Did it occur to you to take the damn headphones off and ask what was going on??? Did it occur to you to turn down the volume on the ipod, for pete's sake???"

Hmmm. Maybe it wasn't just the medicine that made me cranky this evening. Let's see, a burning barbeque and burnt arms, a shootout at work that he basically ignored, and the med screw-up while DS grows more and more spots and hives...

 Men. They stink sometimes, dont they?

So I forgot to ask: How is your DH doing on the daytime schedule? He is working days now, right?
