Is the Mongolian Beef sweet? There's a sweet beef dish I tried that's really good.
We had a favorite teriyaki place in the U District, and the guy that ran it (not sure if he was also the owner) was really nice. DH was so bummed when the guy wasn't there anymore, but surprised a few years later when he met him at another location! I still don't know if he owns these or just manages them, but he said they needed more of a firm hand at the new location so that's why he moved on.
Did the previous owner retire? Or start something new?
