I had them as a teen-- along with headgear for a viscious overbite.

My mom spent $2000 (of course this was eons ago) and that included everything .. they even put them back on the bottom (just the front teeth) for a few more months as it wasn't "set" as nicely as they had hoped. (no additonal charge).

but yes, ask if they have any guarentees and if they will re-do with no additonal charges.

Yeah, my teeth were pretty bad. Very crooked because my mouth was small and my teeth were big. There's a name for the different shapes that teeth come in, and our next door neighbor used to always admire my teeth, it was hilarious! He made dentures and crowns and such for a living (I forget what that's called), and he loved whatever shape my teeth are!

I wore braces for 2.5 years, used the headgear religiously (fortunately during the SUMMER months so I didn't have to go out in public wearing it) and had this big black molded rubber "tooth positioner" instead of a retainer. They had me wear that for about 6 months, about 14 hours a day to start, then tapering off to like a few nights a week, then stopping it altogether. THAT was their big mistake. No retainer, no wires, no "tooth positioner", nothing. That's the reason I needed braces in my 40s.

I remember the days of tree climbing, sneaking off with out a helmet to ride a bike, the sword fights with sticks...I could go on and on.....now its, is that wreck on the route the kids are on...kids just left I hear sirens...it never stops

I'm trying to convince my bf to buy a 3 day park hopper I saw at Albertson's. It's only $99 for So-Cal Residents and the promotion expires August 30th.

I'm sorry but I can't picture myself riding one of those. I would probably freak out!

Maybe I should tell him I'll take it if he buys that 3 day park hopper.... lol

DS7 is watching ESPN, I think it is. Some sports channel. There was a show of bloopers, and then a commercial. The commercial showed kids trying to play catch by themselves, taping a mitt to the garage door, to a dog, hanging it on a lawn ornament, etc. Then a black screen with the words: "1 in 6 men are diagnosed with prostate cancer... Kids need their dads."
