The kids have this week off, then they start lessons again next week. I snuck them into classes (online started at 9am, and I registered them online at 8:45) I wasn't going to miss the preschool class again

Alecia missed one to move up too, but I had already signed her up for the next level - I talked to the instructor and he said no big deal. The problem with her is she performs at the level of the others, she has to be challenged or she will just sit there.



I sure the heck wouldn't go out in the heat Reminds me, I should turn on the swamp cooler, it is a bit warm. Did I mention that my electric bill was $120 last month

Reason for moving up to the mountains right there. Mine was $325 and we were gone and turned the AC up to 86 during that week and have been keeping it about 79 in the day and 77 at night to sleep with. the joys of summer sigh.

DH and DN really want a spa. I told DN that if he was on good behaviour and stayed with us I would get one.

They are playing both flag football and softball next month, so they want one. I have such a bad back I wouldn't mind one either

Like as in a hot tub? WOW DO NOT TELL JEFF! He really wants one. I told him there is no possible space in oour backyard to put it. he refuses to see that and wants to shove it in between the lemon and one of the grapefruit trees. Like our backyard isnt crowded enough.

the good news is that it looks like we may cancel our 4th of July party....It is so much work....much fun bot alot of work....It may just be a small patio evening get together with my sister and neighbor....

I'm not sure if it's better or worse to be a 3 hour plane ride away. It just isn't an option for me. But if it were only an hour away, would I be fool enough to make the drive just for a Dole Whip?

Probably!

Only an hour?? Heck yeah! We would be there every weekend!

Hence why Disneyland was our "church" every Sunday

I have my sis half convinced to go on a trip with me.. but she doesn't want to go to DL--GASP!! I know!! She was obviously adopted.
Tried to talk to my mom about it, she laughed and walked away My dad could not cope without her, he would need someone to come in and fix meals and give him his insulin shot. Yes, he is that dependent on her.. he doesn't even know how to draw his own insulin. Seeing the way my mom has to work to care for him and their lake property is an eye opener for hubby.. which is why he will do his own dialysis set up/break downs. And told me if he ever gets that dependent to pack him off to a nursing home.

I've tried to warn you guys that pineapples are dangerous.

Pinnepple has an enzyme that can cause rashes, it's the same enzyme that can cause jello not to set-- which is why you don't put fresh pinneapple in a jello salad.

Okay hyenas- If I am on the DIS past 10:30pm, use the force to make me get to bed. As long as it's not brute force.. because I bruise like a peach.

WARNING...RANT BELOW.

There are so many tasty healthy things you can serve during the summer. What is wrong with people? They have to know that stuff is clogging their arteries and killing them don't they?

I know this sounds stupid, but I'm almost getting to the point of walking through the grocery stores and not being able to find anything to buy because it's 99% crap! The produce sections are getting smaller and smaller and the chip, cookie and soda pop aisles are getting bigger and bigger.

OK, Rant Over!

Glad I'm not the only one to notice. That's what irritates me about Super Target, all the produce is pre measured and sealed in plastic.. ewww. I like to fondle my produce, get to know it a bit before I take it home.

So I have 2 backyard offers, do I hear 3?

hmm, how about a domino's parking lot? I could offer our backparking lot, but the neighboring dumpster from the icky chinese restaurant smells very RANK!
We hold our breath and scurry to the building in summer and after a rain.

I was so sad to learn of the passing of Don S. Davis. Don played General Hammond on Stargate SG-1. My brother actual met him a few years ago in Kansas City and said that he was a really nice man.

Don died of a massive heart attack on Sunday. He will be missed.

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, I forgot how much I dislike the humidity.

It's not really hot, but I was getting cranky and snapping .. hubby looked at me, walked over to the ac unit and turned it on.
