Here's to Two Weeks! So excited for you and Paula. Everybody's trips are coming so quickly! It almost feels surreal!

You're in single digits lady!!! WOOT!! How exciting for you!! Yes we are getting closer and closer aren't we!!

WOOHOOOO!!!!! Seriously the days can't go by fast enough!!!!

Trust me I know this feeling!! Of course I should get that to-do list crossed off LOL!!!

Jen!! I've been kinda busy the past couple of weeks but I'm still reading- I just had to comment on the Wishes dessert party! It looks fabulous and I am a little jealous right now, I'm not gonna lie LOL I expect lots of pictures!!

I will definitely make sure you get plenty of pictures of the party!!! I'm very excited about it!!!!!!

My new crocs feel great on my feet and I can't wait to have them at Disney!!! They will definitely be the perfect MNSSHP shoe, that's all I'm saying about that!!

I would love to see Nemo it was an AMAZING show and definitely worth seeing!!!! You will love it!!

Chapter 16: Welcome Foolish Mortals….to a Spooky Halloween like Update!!

Happy Saturday!!! Don’t you just love weekends I know I do!!! The main reason I love weekends is that it allows me to catch up on all the things I should have done during the week, but somehow never got to LOL!!!! I also enjoy the relaxation too LOL!!! Well today I am officially two weeks from Disney and Paula is 16 days…woot!!! Two weeks from today this morning I will have already checked in bright and early and SSR and will have headed over to DHS for their morning EMH hours!! I will have hopefully ridden TSM twice (improving my score) and now getting off the Great Movie Ride!!! I just love that park!!!! I can’t wait to be there!!

So what’s new with us!! Well Nobby’s costume for MNSSHP has been purchased by Paula and he is going to match us…he is very excited about this! We would love to show you pictures, but that would give away what we are going to be…so ummm yeah about that….you’ll just have to wait!! However, I have seen a picture and it will be well worth the wait! I went shopping on Monday, visited the outlet mall near here and got two new shirts from Disney which I’m very excited about!!!! Also TK on her PTR made mention of shopping of things she can’t mention, well I did some of that shopping also on Monday and I’m so excited about the things I cannot mention!!!! All of you know that I’m a high school teacher, well I’m excited to let you know my sub came by this week and we talked about what I would like her to do the week I’m gone and I’m all set!! I’m going to be giving her a copy of my lesson plans on Tuesday so she can prepare, but nothing beats knowing you’re all set to leave and that your students will be in good hands…such a relief to me!! Now on to the lists...LL will be so proud LOL

So speaking of to-do lists…here’s my weekend to-do list!

• Go to Bank, get quarters (for the toll booths)
• Wal-Mart (I live at this store LOL)
• Stop by costume shop (need to pick up one final item)
• Bath and Body Works (I have been inspired by Jen!!)
• Decorate gift bags
• Make my “I’m the Quiet Friend” t-shirt (yes a lovely DISigner made me a design YAY)
• Finish Itinerary Note cards (I’m not carrying my huge binder around so I have note cards that fit very nicely in my front pocket of my backpack).
• Get a manicure
• Scotch guard my park bags.

So that is my list of Disney to-do items!!! Here’s to crossing off most of my list!!!

Now let’s talk some more must-dos, Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party!! I’m so looking forward to this party! Paula has been in the past and says it’s amazing and we all know my love of all things Haunted Mansion and villains so I’m sure it’s going to be a slice of heaven wrapped up in Disney goodness for me!!

• Hallowishes (no brainers there lol!)
• We’re buying a party music CD!! (I’m not supposed to let her talk herself out of buying it LOL)
• Haunted Mansion... Jens 'meet' (Some of my favorite DISers all going on the ride that if I could get a PHD on I would, this is going to be a good time had by all LOL)
• Pirates with TK!! (Some of my favorite DISers going on the ride TK would get a PhD on if she could LOL, this is also going to be a good time had by all LOL, we are hoping there are enough of us to get our own boat, imagine the possibilities with that LOL)
• Alices Treat trail (Queen of Hearts and White Rabbit…I’m so there LOL)
• Some character pics in their costumes
• IF Captain Jack is there....hes a must see
• Pics with Villians (I’m so looking forward to this…I really want Maleficent)
• Party Pics....Paula’s getting the headless horseman this time!!

There you have it our must dos for the Halloween party!! It’s going to be an amazing time!!! I’m really looking forward to meeting up with C, Heidi, and TK during the party and just having a plain good time. I’m also really looking forward to being with some great friends when the clock strikes midnight, because I will be ringing in my birthday at the Happiest Place on Earth, doesn’t get much better!!!!

So we only have one more Must Do list and it will be focused on the Food and Wine Festival. All that yummy goodness and so little time to partake in it LOL!!!! This event is the one time I’m glad I won’t be solo because you can share the morsels of goodness (unless of course its crème brulee than Paula you are all on your own LOL) with each other!! YAY!!!! So coming soon….Food and Wine Must dos!!

In the Treasure room in the last scene there are three gold plates that form a Hidden Mickey placed on the floor. I guess Capt. Jack is a Mickey Mouse fan too LOL!!!!!

I just ordered Tshirts for my DS's for the party... AND I didn't know there was a Halloween CD??!! OH totally getting that!!! We always blast Halloween music from our house on Halloween... the whole street REALLY gets into the holiday, so we do our own "Graveyard".... Fog, "lightening" flaming bowls, you name it.... Sometimes I worry we scare the kids too much! Well, if they want the candy...

Ummm...I'm not sure yet!! I think we might head over there after our tea...but we have to figure out how to change into our costumes. We might go back to the resort and change and then try to get there as close to 4pm as we can!!!! Awww...thanks!!! As of right now the plan is to reveal the costumes during the TR...although we might post a live update on here that night or the next morning LOL and show you guys the costumes, we'll see LOL!!!!!!

Yes the only time the Headless Horseman comes out is during the Boo to You parade and I'm so excited to see it!!! All the HM Mentions during the parade the Villains...its going to be so amazing!!!

As far as the mix and mingle I do believe some of the villains do sign autographs...I would like to visit with them all but I will settle for my fave villain of all time...Maleficent is just pure evil...I mean the voice, the outfit, the whole dragon thing...yeah scary evilness right there!

YAY for knowing the Hidden Mickeys...so much fun!!!!!! Well I have accomplished a lot on my list...however getting around to cleaning the house was not one of those things LOL!!!!!

There is a party music CD...last year it had the MNSSHP and the P&PP music on the same CD... Iguess that MVMCP must have it's own I picked it up several times last year...then put it back and didn't buy it.... I've regretted it since!! I will NOT leave without it this time!!

I don't remember the Villians signing autographs last year.... maybe the less popular ones do (I remember Frodo wandering around with no one meeting him!!) But the line for maleficent is really long... and i don't think she'll sign

I only got to meet the evil queen last year,since the lines are long and they stay for a really short time, you may only get to meet 1 or 2

Oh wow-I so want that CD myself......just another thing to add to my lists of things I have to pick up next year...

I joined Disboards in 2006 but really only started to become truly addicted this year......I'm now thinking about starting to copy other people's lists-like Jen's Paula and I Must Do's for the Halloween party and filing them away for next year...does that mean that my addiction is entering the point of no return...?
