Include drug stores, I am guessing you can buy gift cards off the rack for Macy's, etc and get the 5% back shopping at CVS, Walgreens right?

Enrollment starts Dec. 15th, but the bonus on purchases won't start until Jan 1.

I saw that and I am not happy. This past year when they offered it, I bought supermarket gift cards that lasted me another 4 months. I was hoping to do the same this year.

It's now time to find a different rewards credit card. I've had this one since they offered 5% on gas, groceries and drugs stores, but now the rotating categories
do not really reflect my spending.

The other complaint I have is their discounted gift cards for rewards. I really liked the Barnes and Nobel cards since I used them for my DS's college textbooks!

I was pretty bummed with the categories too. Not only are there no grocery stores, but also no hotel or airline categories. About the only one that works for us would be the gas stations.
