Chase Disney Rewards Card & 10% Off Dining?

So I got the notice in the mail for the $200.00 Disney gift card after first use, applied and got approved.

I called today to activate it, and the guy on the phone tells me about the rewards like the Epcot Meet & Greet with the free 5x7" photo, 10% off at World of Disney store and then said I save 10% dining at Walt Disney World. I didn't think any thing of it because I wanted to get off the phone, but afterwards I started looking around and I can't find anything on their website about it, anyone have any insight into this?

I recently got the card too. In a couple of weeks you will receive the full program guide that tells you where you can get the dining discount. I know for DL, there are only a handful of places that provide the 10% off...not all locations. Still it's a nice perk as we were planning on eating at a few of the places that do offer the discount.

The website shows that the WDW perks are:

* Character Meet 'N' Greet at our Private Cardmember Location


*Receive 10% off on select merchandise purchases of $50 or more at select locations at Walt Disney World® Resort

* 20% Off Select Guided Tours



For Disneyland, they show different things including 10% off some food...so I'm thinking that WDW might not offer that...



But hey, at least you had a Chase Visa employee who didn't make things up entirely! The other week someone posted that the employee they spoke with said that you got a front of the line perk with the Visa card...just flash your card and go to the front.

I originally replied that Chase does offer this, but then I relalized I was confused with the occassional DVC discount that is offered. I do think I remember Chase offering some kind of dining perk, for limit times.

There are special Disney Visa cardmember packages available once in a while where you get a discount off a dining plan. They may have been talking about that since I do believe there's a promotion going on right now.

What is this gift card you speak of? I recently became a member here within the past 6 months. I don't have any points racked up or anything like that. Just curious if this is something they're offering to select people or if it has to do with the points?

I've used it at DL for 10% off at the mexican food place (brain f**t- can't remember the name) Thought I got the info online on my account site. Don't recall if there were any at WDW but it would show online under your Disney perks/offers.
