Charlie and Lola is my dd favorite show on disney. Does anyone know if these characters are at MGM? Is there anywhere to purchase Charlie and Lola merchandise? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I adore this show! I'd love to hear that we may see them there!

I think it is probably much too new to have anything out quite yet.

My DS5 loves the show, because they sound like Mummy. If he is being particularly difficult he sounds like Lola! DS was born here in USA, but I'm from UK. He has never even visited England, but has such a strong accent! I like him seeing it as they mention some very Englishy things (like Marmite and Twiglets!) plus I notice Charlie was playing Scalectrix yesterday. Things from my childhood! I think he was beginning to think my childhood was a little abnormal as I don't know about any of the American childhood 'traditions' and favorites.

We all love the show, and the books that the show is based on! My dd7 LOVES to talk like Lola and makes and excellent immitation.

I do hope to see them soon at Disney and maybe even cute dolls or a shirt or something!

Just got back today and we didn't see anything "Charlie and Lola" related while we were there. It is too bad because it is such a cute show!

I don't think they have any Charlie and Lola merchandise there....they have a Playhouse Disney Show at MGM though where you can see Bear and The Big Blue House, Stanley, Jojo's Circus, and Rollie Pollie Ollie. It's a really good show though, my DS1 loved it! :earsgirl:

DD would love it if there was, but I don't think there will be. We taped the pink milk athon today. We love Charlie and Lola, that and the new Little Enstines are the 2 new good things on Play house Disney. :goodvibes

Something about the kids with English accents. Of course we are major Kipper the Dog fans around here too! :dog:

That would be great! DD loves Charlie and Lola-she pronounces Lola with an english accent-so funny! The books really are great and mostly out in paperback.

My DD3 loves this show too! I didn't know there were books with them. What stores carry them?

We were there in August and didn't see anything Charlie & Lola. My DS5 is also mad for the show and can imitate them perfectly. He would love to see them, hopefully they'll add them to the Playhouse Live show.

He is also crazy for the new Little Einsteins.

I have seen the books at Borders. I would imagine Barnes and Noble would carry them also. The books are just as cute as the show.

The books have been out for a while. Lauren Childs is the author/illustrator and she has lots of books-some are Charlie & Lola and others are chapter books for older kids. One of my favorite is "WHo's Afraid of the Big, Bad Book?"-it's about a boy who falls into his storybook. Good jokes for grown-ups too! You can find them at any bookstore. I'm a school librarian and all Lauren CHilds books are popular!

We love Charlie and Lola too. My DH is Charlie (complete with fake accent) & 2 yr DD is Lola. Boy they have fun. We taped the Pink Milkathon yesterday.
I found this article from BBC. It looks like licensing has been done and products starting in the Spring. Yeah.

BBC Worldwide has signed a deal with leading UK independent producer Tiger Aspect Productions to license its 26 x 11'30" animated children's series Charlie and Lola.

Pre-bought by the BBC for its pre-school channel CBeebies, the series is based on Lauren Child's award-winning children's books and is due to air in Autumn 2005.

The deal grants BBC Worldwide global licensing and merchandising rights for Charlie and Lola across most media, including international TV sales, video, toys, magazines and merchandise.
