So now that we've gone mobile and the fp+ is accessible via app,how is Disney accommodating our need for power? Do they have charging stations in the parks? Or do we need to bring portable self-chargers?

They do have charging stations but from what I read it is only in Magic Kingdom.

I saw a blog post not too long ago about charging lockers in the parks. I know it said there are some in Tomorrowland now, not sure where else. You use a credit card as the key, put your phone in and let it charge.

Ah, ok. Thanks. I'll bring a lipstick charger (or two).

I just ordered one for our trip! I was worried about this too, my iphone loses charge if im using it constantly... and I take a lot of pictures!

Do you have an Android phone? Most use an easlly replaceable battery, no on-the-go charging needed, just pop one out, pop the new one in and you are done.

There are charging stations at MK but not sure about the other parks. I just bring my cable with me & find plugs....

We are an iPhone family. I know the wifi will drain us faster than normal.

Just an FYI--

Granted today is a busy day at the MK, but we waited over 40 minutes for a cell charging locker and after an hour, my phone had only gone from 20% to 70%.

If you don't mind taking a break, there are a lot of outlets in the Tomorrowland arcade so you can just use a conventional charger.

I purchased an external charger before my trip. It worked great. I have to say it's come in handy back home a few times too. I spent the day on my patio enjoying the nice spring day and was reading stuff online and such. I had about 20% of my battery left, but was heading out tonight. No prob - just threw the charger in my purse and I was good to go. I have a droid but no removable battery so this was the only option that worked.
