I am just wondering something does Disney put out a list of who is going to be out and where they are going to be at daily, or are we just going to have to walk around and hope we see some of the characters that my son wants to see?
thanks
jay

does Disney put out a list as well like on a leaf-let or anything on that day?
I have looked at kennythepirate. I would hate to have to tell my son that someone is going to be there that day.

Yes, but sadly it is often not complete. In my experience, KtP's info is more reliable than Disney's own, believe it or not.

There are times guides with the park maps, but as Mesaboy2 said, Kenny the Pirates info is more accurate.

Some characters are on the Times Guides (the daily leaflet, which they change about once a week I think) and will definitely be there. But there are some that you can usually find but not always (like Peter Pan) and random unexpected ones too.

peter pan is one for sure hook is the other one. I know this is going to be a long shot but my wife and I went to Disney about 10 years ago and she has a pic with the tweedles and now my son wants to meet them.....
I was looking at kennys and from what I see u have to pay for all the details of the characters.

Guest Relations locations at the parks will have the information for that particular day.

I don't know if it's in your budget, but take a look at the Pirates and pals cruise. He'll get a meet and greet with Hook and Smee before the cruise and with Peter Pan after...

He has an app that you have to pay for, but his site tells you where to find all the characters, not just what park, but where in the park.

I'm not sure that's free anymore. Looked a little harder to get to that info last time I checked a few weeks ago.

If the Tweedles will be out, it'll be at the Tea Cups. They appear there randomly, meaning a couple times each month. It's luck of the draw.

TWEEDLES

As mentioned, Hook appears at the Pirates and Pals cruise, he also appears randomly throughout Epcot a couple times a month. Early in the week, mid-mornings at the International Gateway is your best bet.

CAPTAIN HOOK

You may have to navigate around ktp a little bit, but the information you need is all there for free. . .

And there is additional info that you can pay for on KTP - if you get value from his site, then a couple of bucks for the extra info is a nice gesture - I think it's only $3 or $4.

One thing that's really helpful
Are the actual schedules for the characters still available for free? I didn't see those.

OP, one of the most helpful thing about KtP's website is that it shows exactly when the characters should be out. The meeting times listed on Disney's Times Guide are very general -- it will usually just say, for example, that a character meets from 12-5. Kenny's site takes breaks into account, so it will tell you that the character will actually be out from 12-12:30, 1-1:30, 2:30-3, etc. I think that it's worth spending a few dollars on it if you're serious about meeting characters.
