Characters throughout the parks

I realize the app has very few characters with their location. For example, Peter Pan and Gaston aren't listed in the magic kingdom, but they are there.

What other characters are out there and hiding in certain spots for meet and greets? And what is their location? Park name and place.


I have til 5pm tomorrow to meet last minute characters! I've already met all the traditionals and most princesses (Mickey, Minnie, Cinderella, ect.) I'll be in all 4 parks at one point or another if I need to be! (Already met joy and sadness!)

I don't really look at the app to know what isn't listed but in world showcase I've spoted uncommon princesses a few times near the international gateway entrance. Time to time you also see the motherload of characters at world show place (the gate between canada and uk that never seems to be opened. world showplace is back there and sometimes they'll bring out a dozen characters at the same time and open the gates.. Generally mickey and minnie are together when they do it.

If the weather is on the edge of being bad and rainy, I see donald go into the restuarant or at least the roofed outdoor seating near the dinosaur ride I forgot the name of that quick service place. usually goofy and pluto are somewhere around dinoland when that happens (but I think that's actually a spot). I've seen flick a few times just outside starbucks at AK also.

I've heard in the morning sometimes alice will ride the teacups with someone. I've also seen some of the country bears out time to time walking around and interacting near their show building.

It really depends on weather and crowds though, it was a really nice spring this year and I've been noticing a lot of doesn't really happen around WDW but is normal at DL things going on. It's not always but look atound a little more, pay attention to the crowd in a distant. you never know who might show up around the corner.

the characters and locations are on the app. Just checked and your 2 examples, Gaston and Peter Pan, are there with their location and times

agree with check out @kennythepirate character locator. When we were there in January Snow White and Aurora were not listed on the MK times guide but they were right there on the character locator with location and exact timeframes when they'd be out. IMO it is worth it's weight in gold - I highly recommend it

The MDE was pretty reliable when were there in June. The only thing that happened is Aladdin was listed in Morocco, but when we got there it was just Jasmine. Otherwise everyone that was listed on the app was where they were supposed to be at the times listed.

We did happen upon the great character find in Epcot between Canada and UK. We were sitting on the curb waiting for some of our party and we spotted Tigger, so we wondered over....OMG, in less than 10 minutes, we met Tigger, Eyore, Penguin, Chip and Dale, Rafiki, Donald, Mr. Smee. There were a few more there but there was lightening in the area so they took them in early. It was a HUGE SCORE and we were excited! It 2:00 in the afternoon when we did this.
