Characters in halloween costumes in October?

I just wondered if any of the Disney characters were dressed in Halloween costumes in DL during the month of October. We decided not to do the Halloween Treat in DCA (just to late for our little ones) -- but wondered if they appeared in costumes any other times?

Yes! And they are really neat, too! I tried to find a photo for you from last year but I can't right seem to locate one right now. Mickey, Minnie and Goofy for sure, and I can't remember who else we saw just on Main St last year. They weren't really in costumes so much as really cute Halloween attire. This year there are supposed to be even more decorations that last so maybe that will mean more characters in costume!

So there's a chance that we will see characters in "costumes" and decorations (in both parks ) without the MHT hard ticket event??? This would make my Mom SO HAPPY! We're not doing the MHT, but she has her heart set on costumed characters and decorations....

Yes, they will be in costumes!! They wear different costumes at MHT than they do during the day, but you will see them in costume! I wish I had my pics right here to scan, but they were cute!

That's great news...my Mom will be happy! She was worried that since we weren't going to Halloween Treat that she wouldn't see decorations or costumes. This is GREAT news for me to share. THANKS!!

Last October, we only saw the characters dressed at the Halloween Treat. However, lots of them were wearing different outfits than typical.
