Characters at MNSSHP

we saw all the above characters..and can i just say the fireworks were incredible !!! the music that went along with them was amazing !!! that was the highlight of our night....oh yea and the headless horseman before the parade..

I've heard from various people that Abu is out at the party this year.

we saw Abu in Adventureland at the MNSSHP on 10/2

Jo Jo and Goliath were in Toontown, in front of the sign that advertised the Little Einsteins.

We were there on 10/2. My son was so anxious to see villians. He was hoping to see Sora from Kingdom Hearts or Jack Skellington.
Everywhere we went on 10/2 characters were gone.

We saw zero villians, except in the parade.

We did see regular Baloo, The Incredibles, 2 Pooh characters in costume at that new playground and we got a glimpse of the Dwarfs as they were going inside for the night. There was a huge line at Minnie's house, but someone said she went in. It would be over an hour's wait to see her including her break time, but we were also told it could be much longer since Minnie was out for 20 minutes, back in for 10 minute break, etc.

Every time we got in a line we were told the characters were done and wouldn't be back. My son spent his own money to buy a gold autograph book just for MNSSHP. He was so excited to see characters on this night, but we left so disappointed with only 2 stamped autographs from The Incredibles. I felt so bad for him. Heck, if we would have seen 1/3 of the characters listed as being there we would have been happy.

You'd think if WDW was charging so much for the party they'd take the time to put maybe a mask on their ordinary, out every day characters.
We didn't realize it would be that crowded. Peter Pan's Flight still had a 30 minute wait time when we were there.

Maybe we just had bad luck with timing. No Headless Horseman. Two cancelled Cinderellabration shows. A late first parade. Hardly any characters. Same old long lines for rides. Not sure I'd pay to go back to another MNNSHP.

Every time we got in a line we were told the characters were done and wouldn't be back.

We loved MNSSHP last year, and are going back this year, but we did have this happen to us many times last year. It seemed we hit the tail end of the characters on several occasions.

what about the Evil Queen?? Not the snow witch (seen her before).. The actual Evil Queen? She's usually just in parades. Would love to see her at a meet and greet!!

The Queen is part of the Villain mix & mingle. We actually saw her at MGM a couple of days earlier though.


Same with Jane, we saw her at AK earlier that week.


Sigh, I can't believe we missed seeing the Dwarfs!! We walked through Fantasyland several times, but must of hit it at the times they weren't out. DH kept telling me to ask, but with all of the changes I just assumed they weren't out this year. Also missed Goliath the Gargoyle. But we did find 13 characters we needed that night - The Villains were our main goal & the first Mix & mingle of the night allowed us to get all of them because the lines were so short.

We ended up with a total of 50 new characters found this trip. We found 50 different characters on our Dec. trip too - it's really strange that each total was exactly 50. Now it's going to be pretty difficult finding the characters we still need.

The Queen is part of the Villain mix & mingle. We actually saw her at MGM a couple of days earlier though.

I know if you go up to any CM they can make a phone call to inquire when and where a specific character will be.. I hope we get the chance to see the Evil Queen up close and personal!
