So....I'm a yearly visitor to WDW but haven't been to DL in years.
When I'm in WDW I can get 100 plus shots on a Photo cd but am I going to be able to take advantage of it in DL/DCA?
Also,has anyone seen Rhino around DL?

You can use Photopass in DLR. If I understand it correctly, though, you should get a new card there because the DLR prices are cheaper and if you use a WDW card it messes up check-out and charges you the higher price.

There are plenty of opportunities to get PP taken at DL (both parks). Especially if you are on the lookout for the PP photogs.

Also, the DLR PP CD is only $59.95 so it's a pretty good deal.

I saw Rhino during the Bolt pre-parade in December. With Bolt coming to DVD next month, the pre-parade may come back soon.

Be aware that not all characters always have a PhotoPass photographer with them. Once I even saw Mickey in his house with no PhotoPass photographer there.

Yes please don't pre-order it. YOu'll just be throwing away nearly $40.

Unless you're going to WDW first, inside of 30 days before your trip. Then you can get both on the same CD, and if DLR is last then you should be able to get the DLR price.


I think Rhino was only in the parade, not out meeting anyone...and I'm not sure I've noticed the pre-parades coming out again for DVD releases...I could be wrong, but I know they've been gone from WDW for awhile, and I hoe your girlfriend knows that the likelihood is pretty low...

I wonder how the cd's can be 2 different prices.I guess you can't edit them with all the borders and things.

Do you mean between WDW and DLR? If so it's because you have more opportunities at WDW to have PP taken-4 major parks plus 2 water parks. At DLR you only have DL and DCA. Same borders are mostly available both locations.

I like when I get home and can mess around with the pix and then get the cd.
I usually pre-order it to save a few bucks.

You'll be able to edit the pictures.


Just like a picture with Tigger by a photopass person will ONLY give you the signature of Tigger to add on, and won't have Pooh's signature, the pictures are coded with where they were taken. So the WDW pix should be coded to pull up the right borders whlie the DLR ones should have the DLR borders.


There have been several people get both WDW and DLR on their CD, and no one has complained that they only have the borders from one place or the other. I think it'll be OK for you!

We only saw Rhino at the Pixar Play Parade at California Adventure at 5:15pm last week. It was a great parade.

I hope we get the hopper option,they don't have the parade on Monday and that's the day we're gonna be at DCA!!!!

No reason to pre-order for DLR. It's $59.95 plus shipping. $66.95. The preorder is $99.95. If you preorder and enter the code you get it won't show you with a credit. So you would be paying $100 for the $67 DLR one.

I know because I preordered in Sept. for our WDW trip and then we went to DLR many times after we returned (during the time frame allowed). I bought the WDW/DLR cd for $66.95 and asked for, and received, a refund for the pre-paid one. DLR doesn't offer a savings on the CD.
The price charged will be based on the last park visited (with PP taken)
