I'm going to be at HW on the Thursday before a SWW, will there be a palooza?

The poster two posts above you was there on Thursday, last week.

Will it happen during Thanksgiving week?? It's sort of the holidays as far as HS goes but there are no MVMCPs.

It didn't occur last year during that week. Last year it stopped at the beginning of MVMCP and didn't return until January.

That is very true. I mentioned Palooza in front of two FP CM and they didn't acknowledge my statement in anyway. Also we had a Disney official in between sets who was scanning the exiting crowd of the Stunt Show to give the go for the second set. When he saw us all again waiting he'd joke around, "I don't know what you're all here for. Just another day here at the park!"

It was funny to bump into some people already waiting for the characters. It was sort of a hush hush, "Psst...you here for characterpalooza?"

We were milling about on Easter Sunday waiting for the Palooza and a CM asked if they could help. I told him, "We're waiting for the event that you will deny ever happens." He laughed and said, "What event is that?"

The Palooza that day started a little late, and my DH started to get antsy, so we started walking away when a guy gave me a hushed, "Hey, there's a Characterpalooza coming up behind you."

Afterwards, we ran into the CM we'd seen earlier, and told him, "We found it!" His response: "Found what?"

So I have read through this whole thread and I am still confused on the times. I have printed out Kenny's schedule for the week I'm there.
Fantasmic is at 9:00pm and 10:30pm.
For Palooza it says 6:10pm
When I first looked at it I though it was 6 - 10 but 4 hours seemed crazy. Then I noticed it is a colon so I am assuming it is at 6:10PM which means there is only one even though there are two Fantasmics. How long would the palooza at 6:10 last?

About 20 minutes. At any 'Palooza, you don't have a lot of time to meet the characters.

You should plan on getting there a few minutes early in case the Characters appear a little early. With two Fantasmics, there is always only one Palooza.

We were there last Thursday. There were Fantasmic showings at 9:00 and 10:30. We arrived at 6:00pm and there were a lot of people milling around waiting for the characters. Sure enough, at 6:10pm they showed up. We had time to meet Captain Hook, Belle in her blue dress, Max, Mary Poppins, and Aladdin. Also there that night were the green army men (3 of them), the Queen of Hearts, Pocahontas, Pinnochio, and (IIRC) Minnie. It's possible I'm forgetting some of the characters that were there.

It was DD's favorite part of HS and that's saying a lot because she LOVES Fantasmic.
