Evil Queen and Meeko would be amazing to get! I'll be in HS twice this trip (leaving sunday!) and this is definitely going on my list.

We've met Meeko twice during Characterpaloozas...he is a hoot! Definitely one of the most fun characters to meet. I've never had luck with the Evil Queen...but she's on my bucket list!

I've found, in general, that the characters are more fun and interactive during Characterpalooza than during formal M&Gs. Plus, you have the opportunity to meet characters that you typically can't see in the parks (at least regularly). Characterpalooza is definitely a must-do during every one of our trips!

Palooza is dependent upon Fantasmic and no longer gets scheduled around Daylight Savings time. It occurs year-round until MVMCP begins. Starts up again after all the Christmas-related shows end.

If you know what time Fantasmic will be held, you can look at the corresponding Palooza time on Kenny's site. The date doesn't matter; it is the timing of Fantasmic.

Enjoy! A good spot in which to wait is the steps next to the Chinese restaurant. If Mulan is part of the Palooza group, she will head straight towards you!

I was wondering how I missed this on our last trip....guess this explains it and I was just getting excited about the possibility of seeing some of the characters listed. Guess that is yet another reason to schedule a spring trip.

We were there on Monday as well, and managed to chat with Belle only.

We were a tad disappointed, as it was only Aladdin & Jasmine together, Belle, Chip & Dale and a few army guys. We were hoping for a villain or a character we hadn't met yet!

Just went today. Second set was at 525 and had max, belle, Pocahontas, jasmine, green army men, stitch, Mary Poppins, Queen of hearts.

I was there that day too! Did you go to the first or second set? I was disappointed that it was the same characters for both sets, but I loved meeting the Evil Queen, Captain Hook, and Mulan was so nice.

The same characters will be out for each set on a specific day. There is no need to go to more than one Palooza per day unless you want to meet up with a character you missed in the first set.

Also, no Palooza during SWW...SW characters roam the Streets of America.

I'm sorry, I thought I read somewhere sometimes the second set changes up a couple of the characters. Good to know for the future!

We were there during March break and it was so exciting!!

We met Chip and Dale (separately), Mr. Penguin, Evil Queen, Captain Hook, and Belle. The others that were also there included Green Army Men x2, Minnie, Pinocchio and Stitch.

The hardest one was Captain Hook. He wandered around and didn't stay still to meet his line. He walked away and met whoever he chose.

We were happy to have met 6 characters in such a short time, including 2 villains. I can't imagine waiting hours to meet the villains. (I LOVE to meet them, but just don't like the long long wait.)

It's because you have to be polite or he won't stop for you. If you say, "Please, Captain Hook, can we get a picture with you?" he will stop for you immediately. Pleases and thank yous go far with him.

We went to both - noticed the Green Army Man was missing from the 2nd set, but otherwise all were the same. My friend was overwhelmed by them all and kept drifting up and down the street, but never got in any of the lines until I threatened to kill her - LOL.

The CMs were CRACKING UP because she actually came out of the Chinese restaurant the day we were there. They knew she'd be in that area, but the fact that she came out the door tickled a few of them for sure.

We were there yesterday and met Mary Poppins, Jasmine, Pocahontas, Belle (blue dress), and a Green Army Man. They also had Stitch, Max, a second Green Army Man, and the Queen of Hearts.

My daughter had been upset because we missed Mary Poppins at Epcot because we needed to get to our Test Track FP, and at MK because she was going on break just as we were leaving the park. She was ecstatic to see her at DHS!

I want to stress that NO character listed in this thread is a lock to appear. There is a certain subset of characters that the Palooza characters are drawn from each day, but it is impossible for the average guest (or even CM) to know which ones will appear until they actually show up onstage.

Furthermore, Palooza itself is not acknowledged in any way by any Disney media that I know of (for example, it does not appear in the daily Times Guide for DHS). This means that though very rare, it may not occur on a particular day per Kenny's schedule.
