Who have you seen at characterpalooza lately? Do you have time to meet several characters or do you only have time for 2-3?

We did one Monday at the studios and did Belle, Army Man, Chip and Dale before we left. They were still signing and picturing when we left.

If you assertively go up to them, you can meet 6 or more characters. I met 6 without actively searching them out as they wander around if no one is opting to meet them.

We were there last Thursday - and saw a bunch. Hit the popular ones first. Evil Queen had the longest line, but Hook did, too. We saw them, Smee, Pocahontas, Jesse, penguin, Tigger, Mary Poppins, and Jasmine. Stitch was there, too. But he kept moving around. We aren't autograph people, but we got pics with all of them - except Stitch and Captain Hook. Totally worth it.

Nope, not typically.

We were there on 11th may. We saw gepetto, belle, Captain Hook, max and mulan. There was also Pocahontas, queen of hearts, and others I can't remember and they had to go before we got time to meet them. Belle was great and walked with my son to find Captain Hook.

We went on on/around the 10th. We met with an army man, The Evil Queen, and Genie. Other characters there were Stitch, Minnie, Max, Meeko, Chip and Dale....they met separately instead of together like normal. We only met with the ones we wanted to and had left within probably 10 minutes. I would suggest you be a little aggressive. There was really no order there, no organized lines. If someone wasn't actively with a character they tended to walk away and move around.

ABSOLUTELY download the app. The time changed on me - after I had written it down. But in the park, the time was updated - and we caught it there - between rainstorms!

We did it twice when we were there in April. The first time, we got autographs and pix with Stitch, Max, Army Guy, Evil Queen and Queen of Hearts (together), Jafar, Chip & Dale (separate), Gepetto and Pinocchio (together), and Minnie. The second time, we got Belle (blue dress), Genie (ultimately, Jafar, Aladdin, and Jasmine showed up, too, and were all meeting together but we weren't able to get that pic, unfortunately), Penguin, Meeko, and Jessie, and there were others there we'd seen before. So you absolutely can get photos and autographs from LOTS of them, though the interaction isn't as good as you'd get at a scheduled M&G (though the Evil Queen and Queen of Hearts were quite good).

There is a link on Kenny's homepage to purchase his app. That's the only way to purchase it.

It DOES work on the ipad. Download - and it opens inside of a safari window. Worked great on our ipad.

I did not see any September dates on the Kenny the Pirate site. For some reason, I thought the character palooza lasted till the end of daylight savings time (no idea where I heard/read that). Does anyone know if it is offered in September?

Palooza is dependent upon Fantasmic and no longer gets scheduled around Daylight Savings time. It occurs year-round until MVMCP begins. Starts up again after all the Christmas-related shows end.

If you know what time Fantasmic will be held, you can look at the corresponding Palooza time on Kenny's site. The date doesn't matter; it is the timing of Fantasmic.
