Characterpalooza moved to Echo Lake

Here now so I'm not sure if this has been discussed yet. Today Characterpalooza was at Echo Lake. The cast member said that they've been doing this since sunday.

They sure are getting around lately. Last couple days' reports are they were in Streets of America.

They won't this December, since the first Fantasmic is scheduled everyday for 6:30p. Characterpalooza only happens when it is at 7:30p or later.

In 2010 there were still nights that they did not do Fantasmic. Characterpalooza only happens on nights there is no Fantasmic prior to 7:30. Since Fantasmic is every night at 6:30 in December.......... no Characterpalooza.........

Where did you find a cast member who knew where they'd be? In the animation building?

I was at DHS today and I asked inside the Animation Building if they were doing Characterpalooza and all the cast member could tell me is that they hadn't done it inside the Animation building for a few days. I asked about Streets of America, but she had no idea where they would be.

We walked by SoA and there was nothing there, but we saw the crowd at Echo Lake and knew we were in the right place. I asked a character attendant and he said that the group had been at SoA earlier in the day, but I didn't ask what time. This was around 5:15, but I don't know how long they were there before I got there.

We were there at the animation bldg waiting for it yesterday and the CM said that they were doing it in "surprise locations." we are going to try again tomorrow!

Surprise location? That would -- pardon my expression -- suck. We were hoping to hit this on our HS day, but not if they're gonna hide it.

Reminds me of the game playing with Belle's Storytime where they don't tell people going in that they have to participate in the show to get a photo with Belle.

Are they bored in the character department and need to spice up their days or something?

I can understand if they want to keep it fresh & new & surprising so guests can just stumble onto it, but for heaven's sake if you *ask where it is so you can go* they should tell you!

You've got to be kidding me. Characterpalooza was one of our favorites. Now, it seems no autographs- very random- and very frustrating.
This bums me out to hear this. I'm going with my extended family, and I can't take them for a wander around the whole entire park.
