Resort Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

I'm needing some opinions, please. We have a birthday trip coming up for DD, she will be turning 30 while we are there. It's me (52), DD (30), DD (25), & youngest DD's fiance (26). The birthday girl wants to stay at GF & we are going park heavy for 4 days, so no CL. We are flying in the day before checking into GF. I want to stay CL that night so we can enjoy the lounge that day & on our checkout day as much as our time allows.

We've only stayed CL at GDT, Poly, & BWI. Should we go with AKL, WL, YC, or should I splurge for RPC? Right now we are at CR in a theme park view room so the cost for upgrading to CL at AKL, WL, & YC are all within $50. I'm thinking about the convenience of already being at GF but that's a pretty solid chunk. I'm down if it's "worth it" though 🤣

Hello! It's been years since our last Disney trip (preCovid). My son is graduating from college and wants to relive his childhood by returning to Disney (the first place he ever vacationed). We have been many many times between 2007 and 2020 (even had annual passes a few years) but obviously I'm not current on anything there these days. We have stayed CL at Poly, BC and Contemporary. At the time parties of 5 were allowed in one CL room. Looks like only 4 now? I obviously won't have 5 adults in one room and there will be 6 in our party so we will have 2 rooms. Are the pull out beds still in CL rooms? We will have 4 in one room and 2 in another but my teen young/adult girls do not want to sleep in the same bed lol! BC is probably our favorite resort being walking distance to Epcot so would probably prefer staying there but we are open to other resorts as well. What are your favorite resorts/clubs? Besides the food offerings and evening happy hour what are the current benefits of CL? Concierge used to book dining reservations and Fast passes. Do they still? Thanks in advance!
Bumping this to see if anyone has answers. Thanks

I didn’t want to sound negative, but to try to help - the only benefit to CL is the food and drinks. It may be useful having a dedicated concierge at points if you happen to have a larger issue, but they aren’t able to help do anything that you can’t to more quickly and easily yourself in the app regarding dining or lightning lanes. There are no other benefits or perks outside the four walls of the lounge.

We choose the resort based on our park plans, but they all seem pretty similar with pros and cons to each, so it’s very much a personal preference.

Sorry, but I’m not sure on the bed part.

Hope you have a great trip celebrating a big achievement!

The Polynesian still allows (5) Adults per CL room, and yes their day beds are still there. The BWI CL rooms still allow (5) Adults, and many rooms have a day bed but I can't confirm that all CL guest rooms have 3 sleeping surfaces.

The challenge is at the YC / BC where their CL rooms are limited to a max of (4) Adults, and there is no extra sleeping surface listed as available.

CR CL allows 5 in most regular CL rooms and most (maybe almost all) rooms have a daybed and two queens. This applies to the atrium club 12th floor.

Good points about the CR CL being an option but I skipped it in my post due to the current Refurbishment work in the Atrium Tower.

Yes the Poly, YC / BC also have refurbishment work going but their areas of refurbishment are more localized.

@cleighc are you looking at a trip this year or in 2027??

Yes we are booking for this year. The most busy time of course Dec 26-30. Is the refurbishment expected to be completed before Christmas?

Do all the regular rooms at YC/BC have the day bed? It looks like they might

Thats a bummer as the concierge used to be very helpful getting reservations and such. Even at Disney prices one could eat and drink quite a lot for the difference in cost of regular room v CL. Regular rooms may just be the way to go

What exactly is going on in the atrium regarding refurbishment? I know there is some work at BLT with the skybridge and their pool. Was last at CR CL this November and nothing disruptive was going on. Not sure if that has changed or what to expect over the summer??

They’re not pull out beds, as in a couch that opens up to a full or queen sized bed. The back of the couch folds down, into a single twin sized sleeping surface. Not sure how many queen rooms have them. You might make this a request if you really need the extra sleeping surface.

Not so much anymore. They are extremely helpful but it isn’t how it used to be where they were able to secure last minute reservations for you. Now it’s what is available on the ap.
We are a family of 6 and when the kids were young we would get one Deluxe Room at BWI Club Level. This gives you 3 Queen size beds in one room, with one of those beds being a sleeper sofa. Still comfortable. We did get the “I don’t want to sleep with her” last year so you then start checking on a second room.

There’s not much. I just stayed CR (tower club) in Feb. YC/BC, on the other hand, have scaffolding everywhere.

March 30, 2026 Through May 1, 2026

Every Monday through Friday during this time, the Skyway Bridge connecting Bay Lake Tower and the Contemporary Main Tower will be closed from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Guests may need to use alternate paths of travel at times and may see or hear construction activity while work is underway. The bridge is expected to be available during weekday evenings and all day on weekends.

There is a combination of exterior work on the Atrium / tower on the north side facing BLT right now, and there is expected to be more work through Late 2027.

The Main Tower will undergo exterior maintenance beginning March 23, 2026, which may impact views from various locations throughout the Resort hotel and, at times, require alternate paths of travel. Guests may see or hear construction during daytime hours.

This is all that is officially announced at the moment.

Hi everyone!

Toying with the idea of an annual pass and wanted to see if the CL rooms at GF are ever included in the AP dscts?

Thanks!!

New to me - Poly CL greeter stand at Poly porte cochere.

Man did that cold snap do a number on the Poly.

Crazy temporary staircase setup through one of the King K suite bedrooms (regular exterior staircase being rebuilt).
