Character Questions for Akershus and CP

I'm taking my son for his 7th birthday. We have Breakfast at Crystal Palace and Akershus.

Do the characters come to all the tables and you can take pictures with them?
This will both of our 2nd time, he was only 18 mths last time, so he will remember more from this one. I've never done any of the character dining before. TIA!

Yes, at both characters come to your table. I know at Akershus you take your picture with Belle before sitting, and you get the picture before you leave. At Crystal Palace, all the characters just come to your table.

You do pose with Belle, as pp said, before your meal and you get it before you leave.

At CP, all the characters come around to your table. Just a caution though to help you be prepared: it can take up to 90 minutes to see them all if you should miss one. So, if you see them coming, my best advice would be to stay put until they leave you.

Yup! They come to your table.

At Crystal Palace, it is (usually) Pooh, Piglet, Tigger and Eeyore.
They take breaks periodically and there's a parade around the restaurant periodically, but the characters have handlers and pick up where they left off.

At Akershus, we were there for dinner and had a photo with Belle before being seated. Then Ariel, Snow White, Cinderella and Aurora came to our table during the meal. We actually almost didn't get to see Cinderella because the characters were taking so long, but she caught me and my sister at the tail end when we were trying to pay the bill. DH and DS had already ran out to explore the fun viking toys in the store. The Belle photos are park of your dining experience, so it was nice to not have to pay extra for that (although our photo was terrible -- DS was blinking and his eyes were totally closed shut).

When we were there 2 years ago, as many others have said, you get a formal picture with Belle before you are seated. As we were eating, our table was visited by Cinderella, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty and Ariel. My daughter got autographs and pictures with each one. Each one spent maybe 45 seconds to 1 1/2 minutes at each table depending on the number of guests and the interaction.
