Character pictures

I don't see anything wrong with it, you waited in line just like everyone else.

One day I was walking to work and ran across these two - they literally grabbed me and we ran from the resort entrance (at Epcot) all the way to the fish and chips window. Kids waiting for them laughed their little heads off :)

that is so cool. I hope that happens to me in June. :dance3:

We don't normally take pictures with characters but DH and I were in Toontown with our teen boys just looking around when we saw the line for Minnie Mouse was very short so we jumped in. The boys didn't want to so we just DH and I were in the picture. I put a boarder on it on the Photopass site and added Minnie's autograph. I stuck it in a red frame and took it to work for my preschool class to see. They love to see that I went to Minnie's house! I think I may have to do a few more this summer. :goodvibes

I was wondering what you thought about waiting in line to take pictures with the characters if you are an adult? I was waiting to take pictures with Winnie the Pooh and then a family with little kids lined up behind me. I had a horrible thought that I would take the last picture with the character before they left and the children behind me wouldn't get it. (Luckily that didn't happen, we all got our pics) Should I have let them go first? I thought that since I was in line first it was okay. Sometimes I feel like the families behind me are mad because I don't let them go first. Was I wrong? Is there a proper etiquette? Any feedback is appreciated, I'm going back to the parks soon! Thank you in advance!

NO. if you are in line you got as much right to queue up as people with children.

i was queuing up on my own in DL and there was a guy that was standing near mickey not really in the queue - i was behind him and he ignored me and beckoned some children behind me to come to the front of the queue - he didn't know them.
if it would have been anywhere else i would have told him i was queuing but i am in DL so i let it slide - it would seem stupid for a grown woman to argue over cutting a line for a character.

My sisters and I were lining up to see Woody and the Green Army Men and my dad was in line too, but only to take the photo but then we saw there was a photopass person so he stood aside once we got to the front. It took at least 10 minutes to get to the front which was okay I guess but then we got talking to the Army Men and they wanted to know where our mother was - we said that was her waiting over to the side with our dad! Then they marched out from the photo area to drag our parents into the photo! It was hilarious. During this time, Jessie came along to the photo area. So in the end, we got some photos with the army men, Woody and Jessie! But then we felt bad because after our photos were done, Woody went away so it was only Jessie and the army men.

Kind of different to your case, but in a way not, because it was our parents 'fault' that other people didn't get a chance to have a photo with Woody, but at the same time it wasn't our fault completely because we didn't ask for them to waste time getting our parents...it just happened that it was hand over time between the two characters.
