We are traveling to Disneyworld in just a couple of weeks and this will be the first trip since I was a little kid that we plan on doing a few character meet and greets. It is just me and my boyfriend, no children, and I primarily want to do the M&G's for the photo opportunities. I have two questions:

1) We purchased MemoryMaker. I'm assuming the M&G photos will automatically show up on our MemoryMaker photos right? Do we scan our MagicBands at each M&G?

2) Will they find it odd if we have nothing for them to sign? I had considered purchasing an autograph book but honestly that is not what we want to do the M&G's for, we would like the photos more to put in our scrapbook than the autographs. (We also aren't going to be doing a TON of M&G's, just a select few. Therefore, I thought it would be a waste to buy an autograph book just to get a handful of autographs.)

Opinions?

TIA!

My boyfriend and I are planning on doing a few M&G when we go in December as well. From my past trips as a 20 year old with my mom, it has been fine without an autograph book. In my opinion, it is more fun to interact with them just taking a picture.

If you do want autographs but not a book, you could always do like a photo mat from Hobby Lobby or somewhere and then put a picture of you two in it, since you're mainly wanting photos anyway!

Not odd at all. There was a really neat thread on character interactions too. Ex: asking Tigger to.bounce with you or asking Mulan to show you some warrior moves. There were a bunch of ideas. Have fun OP! I went last Dec and got quite a few pics and no autographs either.

Not odd at all. My last two trips I took a bunch of photos with characters. Anna and Elsa, Aurora, Tink, Rosetta, Mickey, Tiana, Pluto, and Merida. They were all wonderful even though I was a solo adult. Especially A&E and Merida!
