We have been to 1900 Park Faire with Pooh...and again with Cinderella and Friends...it was great. We have tried the Crystal Palace with Pooh and it was not that good. Now we are thinking about Chef Mickey's for dinner..any feedback as to this one?

Thanks for all of the help.

You should post this under the Disney Restaurants Forum, or else try a search there. If I was any good with computer stuff I would try to move it. Sorry.

I do think you will get lots of responses there, and mixed reviews. Some go there every trip, some went once and will never return.

Sorry about that...I am new to The Dis...thanks for the suggestion.

I have only been to Chef Mickey's for breakfast, and it was very fun. We live here now, and haven't been to another one, but I my 6 yr old great nephew is going to visit for spring break, and I want to make sure we get him there! He's never been to WDW (or really anywhere). It was fun to see all the characters. My DD is 8 now, and whenever we go through the Contemporary on the monorail, she mentions that it was fun!

The food was good buffett style- they had everything - not sure what the "fare" is at the other locations.

Chef Mickey's was one of the many highlights of our trip last year. The only reservation we could get was our first full day there...after a full day at MK. It was PERFECT. The food was AMAZING (you MUST try the parmesan mashed potatoes!)...the atmosphere was amazing too. We saw the characters numerous times throughout our meal -- and my kids got autographs from every one of them.

I'm taking a solo trip this week for business -- and had hoped to get in...but couldn't. Settling for the Liberty Tree.

I have had dinner at Chef Mickey's once, it was absolutely wonderful. Tons of character interaction, and a great buffet.

I have done the breakfast at Chef Mickey's and it was the best one yet. I haven't done a dinner but I have done a lunch in the Land at EPCOT. I would have to say that was my favorite character meal that I have had. Plenty of characters all over the place and the food was real good as well. I have read a couple of reviews on the dinner at CM's and they were not favorable for one reason or another. Now the dangers of taking other people's advice is that you are totally different from these people. What you like and may look forward too, they may not. It is great to get opinions from everyone on this site and the other sites like this but don't take it as gold. Take it as an opinion and then, do what you want to do. Otherwise, you are going to regret what you have missed out on (or the possibility). JMO

Chef Mickey's was terrific. Great character interaction!! Good dinner food too! DD10 loved the peel & eat shrimp. DS7 loved the prime rib.

Never been, but all the reviews I read and the research I've done seems to be unanimous...... Chef Mickey's is great! ::MickeyMo
