character meal question?

We are planning a trip in Sept. to DW. We live here in Orlando, so we go quite often. My kids are 8 (boy) and 6(girl). I would like to do a character meal that we haven't done before. We will definitely do Chef Mickey's, because that is our favorite. Pooh and Tigger are out (kids are too old). The Princesses are out, because my son WON'T have it. I made him sit through the new Princess breakfast at Epcot last summer and he was not happy. Although I don't know if Mary Poppins and Alice at 1900 would classify as princess. We haven't done 1900 Park Fare yet. Of the other Mickey and Chip/Dale meals, are there any that are specifically wonderful? You know, do they do something special rather than just the characters? We will see everyone we want to see at Chef Mickey's. So it's not really a matter of characters. Can you give me specifics as to why Cape May and Ohana's are your favorite?

DH and I have done the Garden Grill character dinner and we think it is the best character meal we have done. The characters are Farmer Mickey and Chip and Dale and we have found them to be the most interactive here even when busy.

My boys liked Donald's Breakfastsaurus!!! It was a lot of fun and the food was good.

As far as O'Hana's and Cape May Cafe........I can't help you because I haven't done them yet. I will be doing O'hana's for breakfast and Cape May for dinner on my next trip down in December.

Have you done CRT? I took my boys at ages 9 and 12 and they really liked it (even though it was all the princesses!). We are planning this for our next trip and they will be 11 and 14. Even though they are princesses, it is nice to see the inside of the castle and this breakfast is wonderful!
