I have never eaten at Crystal Palace but have a reservation for my trip in a couple of weeks. I would love to have a few pics taken with pooh and friends but was not sure if the handler would take pics for solo guests. Any suggestions? :)

When I ate there with my DP earlier this year, we had the handler take photos of Pooh and pals with us solo, as if we were two separate people. (I don't share the limelight well.:goodvibes) So yes, of course!

Why wouldn't the handler take pictures? I have attended three solo character breakfasts (on the Disney cruise ship) and the handlers are more than happy to take my picture with all the characters. I would think in your situation where you are paying for the character meal they will accommodate your request. Take a look at my signature picture on the left... that was a solo character breakfast.

Thanks for the reply. I have just never done solo pics so was not sure if the handlers did this sort of thing or not. Glad to know it will not be a problem. :cool1:

You could always ask someone sitting near you too. Or maybe somebody will even volunteer to take your picture-that's what happened with me and my sister when we ate at Chef Mickey's. :)

You could try the sure method I use when I go to character meals solo-hand your camera to the character and say "I'd love to have my picture taken with you. Do you think we could get someone to take our picture?" Often, they run over to a server our the handler and signal for them to take our picture, but occassionally I've had the character grab someone at a nearby table and make it plain that they want a picture taken. That always produces lots of laughs, and of course, no one ever says "No" to Goofy (or Donald or Minnie or whoever it is).

I am going on my first solo trip soon. I was wanting to try a new restaurant like Liberty Tree Tavern, but didn't know if I would look silly sitting alone or if anyone would even care. Probably not, right. I'm sure they are too busy thinking about their own vacation. :)

You'd think they'd take your photo like anyone else. I mean, Disney usually makes allowances for solo adults and adults in general to enjoy any given thing (aside from say the playhouse disney stuff).

Short of getting a second person to be with so your not solo (hint hint, I'm in teh world around that time too) .. go for it (you do already have the reservation, of course).
