This is my first post.

Will be staying in Disney World for 3 weeks from 7th December. Have never been at Christmas before and was wondering how difficult it will be to get reservation for a Character meal on Christmas Day. Also, I am from London so am not sure if Christmas Lunch is a big thing there like it is at home.

Thanks

Hi Garcia

Welcome to the Disboards, please pop over to the UK Community Boards and introduce yourself (link is in my signature). I'm sorry I can't help you with Christmas Day dining, though I have been over the Christmas period. You will need to make ADR's (advanced dining reservations) for your visit as it is a very busy and popular time of the year.

Hope to see you on the UK Community Boards

Mandy :)

We were able to book Breakfast in the Castle with the Princesses for Christmas morning 2003 with no problem. In fact my DU agent got it for me too (we quickly cancelled one). ;) We called right at 7:00 on the correct day, but we got it.

As long as you make ADRs well in advance you should have no problem. We had The Crystal Palace last year for Christmas lunch!

I had no problem getting ADR for Crystal Palace dinner two years ago and am counting on the fact that we'll be able to get into Chef Mickey's with no problem this year.
